Amazing

Everything was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. The view was absolutely beautiful. It was also big enough for our child to play in the room and to have his crib. The bathroom had a shower and a bath tube which was really practical. The staff was nice and directly gave us the directions to park in the closest parking, since the parking of the hotel was full. They also accepted right away to warm up our baby's food. The room service was also very good since we didn't have any reservation in the restaurants nearby on our first night. The service was quick and the food really good. The location was perfect, we did everything we wanted by foot. Thank you also for the wine for my husband's birthday and the card, jt was really appreciated. It was an amazing experience, we would recommend this hotel to everyone who wishes to have a nice stay in Rotterdam. It was one of the best hotels we have ever been to. Thank you so much.

My preferred hotel for short stays in Rotterdam

Location, views from towersuite, bar/restuarant menu, car parking, price/quality. My absolute go to hotel in Rdam. I ❤️ it.

Check in can be a bit messy and the amount of emails is a bit unhelpful. This doesnt seem to change. Its not ultra modern but comfy cosy practical spacious and offers great value and location. Q

It was alright, but I wouldn’t do it again.

Towels were smelling mouldy so they were definitely extremely old. That no wash could fix it. There was a big gap at the bottom of the door and there was almost no noise insulation.

The place is absolutely not pet-friendly, even though it’s advertised as such. The room was full of stains and overall not clean. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, and we never felt welcome.

Great location, comfy rooms

Very big rooms. Ours had a small balcony on the ground floor (we had a dog), and our friends stayed on the 10th floor with beautiful views. The location was exceptional. We walked through the city all the time since the hotel is in such a central location.

Our room was old, and you could see that. Still very big and comfy. The water pressure in the shower was not that strong.

The staff was excellent! Very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was expensive but good.

The hotel has no reception, so you have to check in yourself, but when you do that, someone from the staff comes to help. I probably wouldn’t have my room without them, and they had great tips. It would be great to have the reception back!

most crappy stay in Rotterdam ever for this kind of hotel

only the breakfast was according to the rate for this room and hotel

the room is the smallest one I have ever stayed in and for this rate really outdated and crappy, you could see the light of the hallway shining through the cracks in the door. Parking was every day full except for the last one and when I checked out they tried to charge me for the whole duration of my stay - pay attention to the bill.

The tram and metro entrance are just outside the hotel. The lobby smells great and the staffs are always smiling and greeting at the guests. Shopping district and F&B outlets are within the walking distance. The room size is excellent for 3 pax and it is a comfortable stay.

The bed for the 3 pax looks like a foldable bed and it will slant downwards if sit at one end. The black tray for the coffee machine is dusty.

Poor, uninformed “improvements”

This used to be the best hotel, the staff made the experience wonderful now unfortunately they decided to go digital and removing the human element at reception. It’s our last stay at the hotel. In 2024 it almost our home away from home even this year we’ve been staying here for two over two months accumulative between our teams.

Very pleasant quiet central place to stay

We were upgraded to an executive which was an outstanding large room with a picture window view across the city. Very comfortable double bed with good pillows/ Arm chairs, coffee table, desk with chair. Large TV. Handy fridge. Drink making facilities including a welcome coffee machine. Big bathroom with separate shower and big bath. Lighting was also very good. Very good breakfast with a decent vegan choice.

Vegan options and marking of plant based breakfast items could have been better but still excellent breakfast

Not worth the price.

The location and staff were nice

Price was too steep for the quality. My room looked nice but the paint was coming loose in some spots. There were some long black hairs on the desk and chair like it hadn’t been cleaned and the entrance from the parking smelled like pee. Overall feels like a hotel that has lost it’s glory. Probably was an amazing stay 10 or so years ago but nowadays it feels dated and can really use some updates.

Very comfortable and spacious room, with good bathroom facilities. Absolutely fantastic view from the windows. Also offered upgrade packages that felt affordable. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options. Well located for visiting various museums and the food market, and especially the library.

Handy for the Metro

Good central-ish location, right next to nearest metro (Eendrachtsplein, use Museumpark exit). Clean, modern room. (Mine was in an older wing but standard was up to date.) Friendly and efficient reception staff.

Shower screen was off its rail but still functioned. Housekeeping had removed some personal items from the bathroom shelf during my stay. Low value but still an inconvenience. Reported to reception on departure but no offer of compensation received (even a replacement bottle of water would have been appreciated!)

Exceptional

Staff was very nice and really helpful. Amazing view over the city from executive room. Restaurant was great, gym and saunas as well. Hotel is in the city center, right next to a metro station, providing quick access to any place via public transport. Top notch experience!

Smart TV would be a nice upgrade to the room. We had a challenge to setup TV to display content from USB stick or smartphone (YouTube and local video files).
