Sparks Hostel

Everything was great. Nice location. Clean beds, cupboards, toilet and towels.

To use the toilet, I had to go up one floor and the stairs were very steep.

Great location, only 10 min walk from the Central train station and close enough to other points of interest in the city to either walk or take public transport. They also have an elevator, which was a lifesaver with my big luggage since the stairs were very steep. The communal kitchen was small but well-stocked with cooking utensils and other essentials. Free coffee in the mornings was much appreciated, and I loved the common area in the back to sit and eat, read, work, etc. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The bottom bunks lacked a privacy curtain/screen (the upper bunks have a screen), which meant they let in a lot of light and sound from the room (to my misfortune, I was bunking opposite the loudest snorer I have ever met), so bring an eye mask & earplugs! Lack of hooks in shower cubicles to hang towel etc. Showers would also tend to wet the entire bathroom floor, which would make walking around after someone had showered a bit gross.

Excellent location, very clean, the staff is super nice. There’s free tee and coffe and also everyday they give you free croissants, bread or sth like that

Stairways are a bit uncomfortable, elevator too slow

I loved the organization of the beds, the most privacy one can have in a hostel. Very clean and quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Free coffee and tea (also free food!) made me feel at home.

A hotel😂 but as a hostel, it was great value for the money
