Sparks Hostel

Common areas are great. Tables, sofas, especially the kitchen with fridges, place to leave your food, cooking stuff (oils, spices, tissues, cutlery...) Location is brilliant, 200m from the central train station. I find the place quite clean.

Beds are just OK, elevators are really slow...

- great location - close to the city center and the old quartier too and the railway station is few minutes on foot - spacious room, practical details - enough of hangers, shelves (I appreciated the shelf in the bed - I could put there even some clothes), four sockets - lockers and towels included - private bathroom (however the common toilet in the hallway was appreciated, because the bathroom in the room was sometimes busy) - well- equipped kitchen with free tea and coffee in the morning - rooms and bathrooms were very clean without any pests - friendly staff - luggage storage after check-out is available for free - nice view

Great location. Friendly staff. Solid beds, no noise when people were tossing and turning at night. Large showers and toilets are inside the dorms. Lockers are very large.

Could have been a little cleaner. There was a used bandaid on the steps to my allocated top bed. The top and bid were both made. The ledge next to the bed to put items was fairly dusty along with the rim of the bed. Every other part of the hostel was clean. It would be good to have hooks in the showers to hang clothes and towel. Currently there’s nothing. Putting it over the door was hard because the doors are close to the ceiling. The window was to the street so it was a little noisy. The dorm was one floor up from the front door. Could hear the door slam shut every time.

Great location and services. Friendly staff.
