Excellent hotel with comfortable rooms and easy access to the highway.

The room is large, quiet and clean. The bathroom was large too. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is close to the highway, it is easy to access other destinations.

The free parking place is small and usually occupied.

Everything went well as expected. Room was spacious and neat. Breakfast was very good. Lots of varieties to choose from. Facility was good with close proximity to places of interest. Overall all, it was good. Did not have much time to explore as my plane schedule changed

Great location near Blijdorp ZOO. Very good connection to the city center. Reliable wi-fi. Coffee machine and kettle available in the room. Parking fee only EUR 4.

The hotel looks great but when you have a closer look then it is becoming a bit shabby - carpets, sheets etc. Nothing really bad but not what you would expect from a 4* hotel.

The reception 2 women were not kind we had traveled over 24 hrs and had to wait almost 3 hrs for a room. They never even came to us to help or offer us a water we told the reception man the next day. It was awful. We had to check out at 4 am. We have stayed in many vanDerValks over 30 yrs This was the worst the morning man said it should never had happened. They could have accommodated us easily. Just nasty to 2 senior citizens

The hotel is a little bit run down. the carpets in the corridors are dirty and are full with stains. We arrived at 22.30u at the hotel and we got a room which was dirty. We asked for another room which they told us was not available. They proposed that we waited for the room to be cleaned. Eventually there was another room available. by then the idea of having a nice relaxing evening was gone.

ok enough hotel, if you're not planning to stay in the hotel itself.

overall it's a pretty much run of the mill hotel on the outskirts of the city. a big plus is the closed off parking venue just across the street of the entrance.

Staff (other than the girl when checking out) seemed very uninterested in doing their jobs. Especially the bar staff that was just basically standing around talking to each other rather than helping customers. Also it's incredibly unprofessional to have staff run in and out of the kitchen to snack on food.
