Very central location, super clean and the staff were very lovely and helpful

The ceiling was very low and not convenient. Bedside tables were not there. Kettle for hot water was not there. Basics should have been provided.

Bedbugs

I found a live bedbug in my room at 3am halfway through my stay. I got a member of staff from reception and showed it to him, I then smashed it and he took the carcass. I was told I would have to wait until 9am for the manager to come in to rectify the situation. I was not offered another room because they said the hotel was full. I ended up having to wait for approximately 15 hours in the staircase of the hotel for the manager to arrive. The manager was antagonistic and unhelpful. I requested that the remainder of my stay be refunded, as I didn’t trust that other rooms wouldn’t have bedbugs as well. This request was denied and the manager kept vacillating between pretending that there weren’t any bedbugs (despite a member of staff earlier that morning both photographing the live bedbug and taking the carcass) and implying that I had somehow sourced a live bedbug and planted it in my room for a free stay. No help was offered in cleaning my belongings to ensure I didn’t bring bedbugs with me to my next destination.

Small rooms without any wardrobe. Only bed and 1 chair. No table, kettle, you will get a glass of hot water after paying £1 they will ask extra charge for room cleaning service. Room cleaning service free after 7 days only.

Good choice for the efficient traveller.

Perfect location, everything is within walking distance. Good soundproofing, it was nicely quiet in the room. Control panel for ventilation and aircon in the room allowed for adjustment as needed. Hairdryer could be borrowed at the reception desk.

Only two electric outlets in the room. Curtains didn't cover the window entirely: to get proper darkness, a towel or similar would have to be used as padding. More than two coathangers would be useful in a double room.

Pleasant stay with friendly staff and a great location

We stayed at easyHotel Rotterdam Centre for a weekend and overall had a good experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed, and the location is excellent — close to all the main spots in the city.

However, the room was quite small and lacked a mini fridge, which would have been useful, especially for storing medication. Also, on Friday night there was a lot of noise coming from a nearby club, and since the windows didn’t insulate sound very well, it felt like the noise was right inside the room. Still, for a short stay in the heart of the city, it’s a decent choice.

Excellent staff!

The location, the staff, air conditioning rooms! I rested very well even though I mentioned that I could hear the other guests in the next room. I was at peace and relaxed! I was treated so well during my check in and because of them and their hospitality, I shall return!

There was no phone to contcat reception, no bar, restaurant, housekeeping entered my room twice without knocking! There was no table, uncomfortble twin beds, no closet in the room, air conditioning kept turning off, the walls were so thin, I could hear the people next door, no shower gel, shampoo or hand wash, no "do not disturb" signs. But even though I have listed all of these things, I will STILL return because my stay was nice and pleasant. Staff are exceptional!

Avoid that hotel

Good location, close to the main tourist attractions in the city. In close proximity to a public transport stop.

The description of the rooms, as well as the photos in Booking did not correspond to reality. The room had two single beds. The distance between the bottom of the bed and the wall was 5 centimeters and I literally had to jump over one bed to get to the other. At first they refused to change our room, but at the end, they offered me a completely identical room, i.e. they had no alternative. The staff at the reception - a man and a woman - were extremely impolite, they didn't care at all that I couldn't move freely in the room. The bathroom had only one door, which served to close two rooms at the same time, the toilet and the bathroom. Complete horror and absurdity. Not a single window in the hotel room could be opened. I felt like I was going to suffocate. I had not spent the night in a smaller and more uncomfortable room. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone! Avoid it even! It was terrible experience! I will put pictures from Booking and from my actual room to see the lie.

Everything about this hotel is great! Location, value for money, cleanliness and space. However, I wish some of the staff would know that guests are checking into a hotel and not into a jail, I stayed there for about a week and unfortunately a few of the staff members were rude and at times just seemed unfamiliar with the term hospitality and failed to realize that is the industry they are employed in.

Very pleasant

The room was comfortable especially with air-conditioning. WiFi was good. Ensuite was clean. Staff facilitated an early and late check in/out. Lockers are available in the lobby to store cases. Location is very near a wide range of restaurants, bars, and a short walk to Rotterdam tourist destinations, tram and train stations.

No tea/coffee facilities in the room (provided in the lobby). Room could have done with more furniture (wardrobe/ draws/ side space).
