    The location of the hotel is in good proximity to the attractions like the Cube House and Market Hall, likewise train stations like Rotterdam Blaak and Rotterdam Centraal, the walking distance for each is within 12-16mins from the hotel. I would say that the guestroom itself is technically ok, neat and clean. BUT the noise coming out from the road is unbearable, probably that is the reason why they put acoustic treatment on the ceiling but it didn’t lessen the impact, to add there are noises on the corridors too and you can literally hear when somebody is using the shower on the next room, and when people are chatting while getting in their rooms past 12midnight. If you want to rest properly, this is not a nice place to be. Another thing I find odd is the smell of smoke (not cigar, probably weed) coming in to the room from the corridor, I have to put on a towel to seal the gap bottom of the door to stop the smell from coming in. I specifically selected a non-smoking room so I’m kind a pissed off. Also another lesson learned from this is to not tick the item that says ‘far from the lift’ when you are doing the booking, as they will put you literally at the farthest room to the lift. The breakfast is quite ok, not bad but not amazing. On the photos, the hotel looks luxurious but don’t be deceived with these as they we’re probably taken more than 10yrs ago, the bldg is quite old and so the interiors. The staffs are nice and accommodating by the way, to be fair. Would I book this again, probably not due to my personal experience and preference.

    Staff were condescending and rude when they asked if my booking was paid but kind of felt like racist because i was asian. No ac as well it was so hot.
