This was an absolute gem of a place! It's like stepping back in time into a beautiful historic building. Patricia is an amazing host and couldn't do enough for us, even providing us with cutlery and crockery for our takeaway after a long day's travel. Such an experience, loved it.
This is no reflection on the property, but worth noting that it's a little way out of St Malo. Taxis were very expensive the night we were there (over 30 euros to go into the town), but there was a bus we didn't try. But still only 15 mins drive to the ferry port.

The breakfast was very good and the host was very accommodating and lovely. The place was different and interesting. It was quiet and comfortable and we were looked after.
It was not modern but it was great for what we needed.

Patricia was an amazing host, and came out to meet us when we couldn’t find the house! She provided an extra bit for the end of my son’s bed as he is 6’4 and the bed was too small! Great breakfast
There were many fascinating artifacts in the house that may not be to everyone’s taste - a full suit of armour, for example!
