Nice location but downsides generally

The location is good with views over the bay. Breakfast is outstanding as you would expect for a "restaurant with rooms". A huge buffet choice with fresh juice, many cakes etc.

Wifi is a disgrace; very slow until it gave up totally at 10pm Room 4 is a mess - tidy and large enough but a melange of styles, tiny bathroom with annoying step and chicane to enter. Bare Fridge sits on the floor -coffee machine in top; on another counter, is the Kettle and so on. Beware that other rooms on the 1st floor at least are very small and one has no view. Parking is a problem. There are plenty of free public spaces outside but they are always full and you have to be lucky with someone leaving. We were but others seemed to be waiting ages. They offer a €35 Valet service. We thought we had booked diner ( one of the reasons to choose this hotel) but on arrival they denied any booking and the small dining room was of course full. They said they sent out confirmations of bookings... No effort to suggest an alternative for diner.

The hotel was great. The staff was great. The food was also pretty good. I would return to this hotel and recommend it to others. My low score reflects my disappointment that this hotel works with booking.com which I have found does not provide consumers with fraud protection and provides zero support when consumers are defrauded by property owners. In fact, booking.com left my husband and I without alternative booking one evening when we refused to sleep in dirty sheets (i.e., blood spot looking thing on a pillow case) at a property. Will never use booking.com again. Don't even know what they are good for anymore.

Booking.com seems like a detriment not only to consumers but to hotels as well....jut ask Ireland.

What a view

Great location looking out over bay. Lucky to get a sea view room too. Parking always seemed to be available even if it was a public car park. Didn’t have meals there but room had a fridge (brilliant because temps reached 28), coffee machine, water (and not in plastic bottles). Good shower. Fantastic view.

Very small room so cramped with suitcases. Extractor fan from kitchens tantalised us with delicious smells, and hummed a lot. The hotel is quite diminutive but the position makes up for that

If possible fix the wood staircase. Does a bit of noise and if you go out a bit late or come back it makes a bit of noise.. Bedside tables with stains and coffee machine on a bedside table.. If possible avoid that, i bet im not the only one who almost sent it to the floor in the morning.. Roim to small to have all those things, but the positive side, they offer everything they can wich is awesome

The room was exactly as pictured. It has a view of the sea and access to the beach. The staff were extremely friendly.

I liked everything but it is definitely not accessible for those with mobility issues due to the stairs.

Dinard, a very pretty place to visit.

The location was excellent. The room and bathroom were clean. There was tea and coffee available in the room. We didn’t eat breakfast so can’t comment. But did eat in the restaurant lunchtime and evening and the food was excellent, tasteful and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach was a short walk down and my dog loved it!! I would definitely stay there again.

Exceptional

Everything about this place is wonderful. I visited Dinard as a teenager in 1984 on a school trip and to have a room with a view overlooking the beach I played with my friends on brought back so many fond memories. Staff were lovely the restaurant food was excellent too. Small but perfectly formed room. Larger are an option. A fantastic end to a month long road trip around France and Spain. Thank you.

A great stay in an amazing place.

We had a superior room with a sea view which was great apart from no lift and the steep spiral stairs would not suit everyone with luggage however we had help from reception on arrival with our luggage. The restaurant is fantastic but expensive. We loved staying at the hotel. We would have liked two pillows each but only had one each, a minor criticism.

Family suite with terrace room, which was exceptional, very stylish. Unsure before from photos but it was a separate room for parents & kids. Right on lovely beach with seafood restaurant. Easy parking outside hotel. Only had breakfast at hotel but that was nice and staff were lovely.

Restaurant was a bit too upmarket for us with the kids! Plenty of others nearby though

Great location close to St Malo for an early ferry crossing the next day . Attractive building. Restaurant looked very good but we didn’t eat there . Great position overlooking the beach and town centre within walking distance . Nice modern albeit small bathroom.

Rooms little small but very comfortable. Limited car parking and not easy finding local parking . In the event we did manage to eventually find a place on the car park in front of the hotel

Thia hotel is well placed in Dinard and the breakfast is very good. Plenty of choice and well produced. Definately recommend to stay there. Also right n the sea front with stunning views of the bay.

Parking is difficult as there are'nt enough spaces. There is a short drop off space and a disabled parking but you have to basically hang around to wait for a space to become avaiable.
