It wasn’t far from the ferry

The restaurant and bar were closed at the weekend. There was very little else around on a Sunday ended up in a Burger King. Cleaners had not finished and the dirty sheets from the last guest were still in a bundle on the floor. Plug in the bath leaked so bath slowly emptied in use.

Good parking, easy access to link roads, and quiet room with ample space. Staff pleasant and helpful

The end room gave a unique three bed opportunity and the beds were comfy , soft and large. Tea / coffee kettle in room all made stay convenient. Shower gels and towels

bathroom starting to show age and parts could do with refreshing, but all systems worked and allowed suitable use.

It was handy for the ferry...a good alternative to a 3 hour drive in the dark on a Monday morning! Great boulangerie/ patisserie nearby. Nice big shower.

Location was good as was near ferry port for next morning.

Very old and creaky. Lady at check in was very unfriendly and it was like we interrupted her fun time and she was doing us a favour. Lady at check out next morning was more friendly. Room booked for 3 and beds made up for 3 yet only towels for 2. Had to ask for extra towel which again was a mission for the staff.

I really enjoyed my comfortable stay at the hotel and will use again.

Very comfortable bed, great for a weekend trip traveling solo away from the city, peace and quiet in detached hotel out-building. Breakfast was lovely. Staff really friendly and helpful. Fresh towels and choice hang to reuse or floor for more fresh towels to save water. Near nature on the edge of motorway. Peaceful.

The location of the hotel and the fact that it had a balcony was a plus the garden surrounding the hotel was lovely too and looked well looked after and made a good first impression. The reception area of the hotel was lovely and the lady on reception was very helpful and the welcome was second to none.

The room overall was not so clean and was very tired, the shower was just about holding on and the sink all stained. The toilet was separate and the wall paper in places was hanging off the wall. There was also a horrible damp smell in the room and as I have health problems which it was affecting we had to sleep all night with the balcony door open. The flooring in the room was a sort of plastic/ lino and was very sticky underfoot the bed was clean and not too bad, but the duvet cover was ripped at the top, hard to say that had not been noticed in all we will not be returning. It is such a shame as it is well positioned and could be really good, as it is I cannot believe it is a three star hotel.

It was a handy location to the harbour with parking. The staff were friendly.

There was a very funny smell in the hotel. The rooms were very basic, hand soap was empty after one use. All 3 of us ended up with bites from a one night stay (bed bugs?). Not a place we will be staying again. Only booked due to a cancelled boat home.

Hotel was able to make change in reservation when ferry crossing was delayed - small charge for weekday acceptable. Good parking and easy access to main road out of St Malo, no noticeable noise.
