For a short stay I would not want stay anywhere alse I St Malo

Breakfast was traditional French in a superior setting. Fresh juice and fruit with more on offer. Plenty of bread croissants and home made cake with a selection of jams, some the best home made. The bed room and shower suite was a great surprise touched away in the basement with access from and view of gsmall garden area available for sitting out with coffee or excellent tea. No fresh milk. Perhaps we should have asked indoor the main house. Large bed and very clever modern design to facilities. Parking good in quiet street of in side gated front of house though this needs great care to access.

Beautiful and friendly stay!

We had a great stay at Chambre d'Hote Saint Malo. The hotel was beautiful and breakfast was delicious and very mindfully curated. The hosts were so friendly and couldn't have been more attentive. They stayed late to welcome us after a late ferry and were really accomodating with my 6 year old daughter. Would definitely recommend!

Delightful family run guest house hotel.

Delightful turn of the century house in a nice area of St Malo and near the ferry terminal. The proprietors were very charming and helpful, getting an extension lead for us to charge our e-bikes. We were in the lower ground floor room which suited us well as it had a sitting area (with a kettle and a fridge - perfect) and we could leave our bikes outsidee the room in the side garden. Next morning we had a delicious al fresco breakfast before we cycled off to the ferry.

A delightful property with great hosts, in a quiet area but in walking distance of the old town

The property was perfectly located for wish to walk around to the old city and close to a shopping area and restaurants. The room was spacious with access to a garden area out the back. Breakfast was good in itself, but made better by home-cooked treats each day. The property itself has a lot of character and history.

What a charming hotel!

The charme of the hotel and the kindness of the staff were truly exceptional, and the breakfast was delicious!!

My wife and I slept in the room with garden view in the lower part of the main building. In hindsight, we perhaps should have chosen a different room since the bed was not very comfortable for us. The double bed had two single mattresses, possibly a bit outdated and quite sagging, along with a fairly noisy slatted base. A good, thick, firm double mattress topper would likely have easily solved the issue. Aside from this, the hotel is recommended and worth revisiting :)

So comfortable and quiet. Superb room in every way, with excellent power shower. Attentive hosts. Allowed us to speak French even though they speak English. Very good French style breakfast.

We will return as this was an exceptionally comfortable and convenient location for the ferry.

Emmanuel greeted us on our arrival in such a cordial welcoming manner. The hotel is in a very quiet area in a lovely setting and has private parking which was a bonus but the gate is difficult to manoeuvre through as it is very narrow. The dining room is a calming and tastefully furnished room. The breakfast was excellent and served in such a friendly but professional manner. Emmanuel and his wife will do anything for you so you enjoy your stay. I would highly recommend this hotel as you felt Emmanuel had a passion for his businesses.

Hotel is in a beautiful villa in a peaceful part of town, but still within walking distance of the centre. It's also extremely well positioned for restaurants and the ferry port. Staff were excellent - attentive, clear, helpful and friendly. We would return to this hotel with enthusiasm.

Helene is a fantastic host. We were greeted with a welcome drink in the garden & our room was ideally suited for our very early departure. It is so conveniently close to the ferry terminal, less than 5 mins drive, but situated in a very lovely area.

Comfortable, clean hotel only five minutes from the ferry terminal - which is why we booked it. A short walk to the shopping centre of St Malo, but quite a walk (almost an hour) to the touristy 'walled city' part. Easy parking and really friendly staff. The breakfast was really good - delivered individually - not your normal buffet style.
