A perfect house for a couple to enjoy a break

Location, comfort and facilities. Complementary tea, coffee and biscuits was a nice touch.

Proximity to the high street, quaint cottage.

We were unable to control the heating system ourselves as it was controlled remotely which caused us some issues. No parking at the premises.

A brilliant little cottage and very convenient for the centre of Peebles. A great self-catering alternative to a hotel room, that was great for my short stay, but would also have been really good for a longer stay too.

The owners provided almost no clear explanation about the location of the house, which made the situation quite frustrating and inconvenient uppon arrival late at night.

Lovely cottage in the centre of Peebles

The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Key collection was easy and communication from the host was informative and timely. I also appreciated herbal tea being offered alongside the usual caffeinated stuff!

It is not possible to park outside, even just for loading, so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. I would have liked a cloth to wipe down kitchen surfaces.

Wonderful place to stay

The cottage was very comfortable and obviously recently modernised. The lounge was well done out and looked great. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The bedroom was large with plenty of storage space and a really comfortable super king size bed. It was down a really quiet vennel where no cars are allowed but only 50 yards from the main road. We didn't find it a problem taking our luggage from the nearest, free( apart from a Saturday) car park. It was a 3-4 minute walk from the cottage. We will definitely use this cottage again

A very cosy stay in a great location

Facilities are excellent, in a high standard of repair and presentation, everything was there there were some good extras which were unanticipated. Instructions on how to find the property, enter it and where to park were very helpful

Very little to criticise, a small remark, we couldn't get the shower as hot as some of the party would have liked, but it was perfectly warm and useable as far as I was concerned (but that was on fully hot), a second key would have been appreciated as with 3 adults this presented some logistical challenges

Comfortable well equipped cottage in a great location. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable super king bed. Plenty of space in the bedroom. Free parking readily available close by.

Really could benefit from an extractor fan over the shower in the bathroom.

The lack of a table and chairs which were in the description. We found found the breakfast bar awkward. The lack of a view.

Nice wee place in the heart of Peebles

Wee nice place very close to Peebles High Street. Ash is a very nice host and always responded very quickly to any queries.

Boiling pasta for three people in the wee pot proved a bit challenging 😃.

Everything was so close to the accommodation. Very handy for us. The property was spotless and had everything and more that you would need during your stay. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. The hosts could not have been better. Would recommend to anyone visiting Peebles.

Were visited for a function and didn't spend much time in the apartment. What time we did spend had the basics sorted out 100% An extremely comfortable bed in a quiet location meant for peaceful sleeps and a good shower in the morning. Get that right and customers will be happy! 😃

3 nights in self-catering accommodation - 1 bedroom terraced house - received instructions on access arrangements - worked well - well equipped - comfortable - TV with paid for channels - big bed - decent bathroom with shower - quiet location just off the High Street - entrance between 2 shops - no immediate parking - but able to park free in surface car park about 2-300 yards away - beware of charging on a Saturday - well located for shops restaurants and Sainsburys

we had a lovely stay. the bed was lovely, towels were great, shower was great. reall nice wee place

the cottage was a cosy cottage. everything it says on the tin. great location lively bed room and comfy sofa bed in living room

the microwave was not clean, and there was lots of cob webs on the ceiling light as you walk downstairs. floors marked, with someone’s rubber soles, so I cleaned floor myself. would still definitely go back, maybe a little lamp in sitting room instead of standard lamp, I think it would be cosier.

Spotless, quiet and warm house in a fantastic location.

Spotless. Obviously recently refurbished and refitted. Huge, very comfortable bed. Large, and powerful walk in shower. Warm and comfortable house. In a very quiet location despite being right in the heart of Peebles. Minutes walk to excellent independent local shops, hotels, bars and restaurants.

Kitchen not very well equipped. Wouldn't have been easy to do much cooking. Only 2 small pans and lack of ovenware.
