Great little cottage for a short break. Host was great receiving our feedback and comments around certain aspecting our

Lovely little cottage. Really close to the high street, shops, bars and restaurants. Communication with the owner was excellent and always answered queries very quickly. Nice warm and cosy on arrival. Good description of the property.

I felt just a little more attention to detail and this would have been perfect. I have spoken directly with the host about our minor issues. We were overall satisfied with our stay.

Comfortable stay - nice, convenient property for exploring area with dog.

The position near to centre. Easy parking. Good facilities - kitchen well equipped and everything worked well. All round good property inside especially with a dog in tow. Owner was attentive and good communication.

Great location. It was a nice and clean with 2 good sized bedrooms. Living area was comfortable and enough space. The owner of the flat left us some essentials in the fridge for when we got there and a tasty packet of biscuits. Great communication and advice on some places to eat and drink. Also very understanding after a little incident. Would definitely book again

Perfect, just like last year!

Spotlessly clean which is perfect for me as I'm fussy. Second visit here which is testament to how good it is. Ben, the owner is very flexible and can't do enough for you. Beds are comfortable although one of the single beds is rather creaky. Love it's proximity to the mountain bike trails and town. Will be back for a third visit!

Bathroom needs hand towel and bath towel rails as there is nowhere to hang them up. Also, maybe supplying a different colour bath towel for each person would help identify who's is who's - just a thought. Granted food smells from adjacent pub is a bit off putting for some, but the food always smells so yummy, I don't mind! Overall, many many, many more positives than negatives!

Excellent location in lovely friendly town. Great communication from host, who left us nice welcome pack. Accommodation well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Loved the fact that it was so near the High St with lots of coffee shops and restaurants.

The stairs to the bedrooms were very narrow and steep. Perhaps it might be a good idea to make people aware of this . Would be very difficult if you had mobility issues. No outlook , and cooking smells from nearby properties made it unpleasant to open the windows.

Great apartment in an excellent location

Excellent location, just off the High St. Free parking just a few metres away. Fully equipped apartment with everything you need for a short break. Very friendly and helpful owner, gave us information on local taxis, and had provided tea, coffee, milk etc. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay for a much needed break away

The apartment is in a great location to the places we visited with plenty of parking a short walk away , the place is very well equipped and clean and tidy we took a couple of things that aren’t usually available and didn’t need them , ample cooking utensils , glasses , nice fluffy towels , comfy beds , tv , big sofa , nice dining table , Ben had left us some milk which came in handy as our shopping wasn’t arriving until much later , was perfect for 3 adults and a dog

Great stay, great communication

Brilliant for 3 guys on a mountain biking trip. Really central and right next to bars restaurants and cafes. On street parking was easy. House is really comfortable and had everything we needed. Great communication from Ben which made planning and arriving easy. He was really flexible and very welcoming. Will definitely use again on our next trip to Peebles.

Just what we needed - a quiet, comfortable place near the centre of Peebles.

Location was fantastic. So close to the high street and river Tweed but set aside. Kitchen was well equipped. Shower was great and easy to use. Very comfortable for a few nights stay. Close to places to eat and drink. Dogs welcome and free parking.

Perfect location. Great host. Excellent facilities (the straighteners and curling irons were a bonus!). Spotlessly clean.

As is to be expected with an old house, the stairs were steep and narrow. But this is made clear before you book, and a handrail is provided.

Lovely cosy apartment close to the heart of Peebles which is a lovely friendly town

Property was immaculately clean, cosy and well equipped. As the property was built in 1890 it’s very quirky and has some lovely old features, crooked doors, winding staircase to bedrooms etc, and a few creaks etc. but this adds to its charm. It was conveniently located close to the high street where there are lovely shops, restaurants and cafes aplenty to be explored. The beds were so comfortable and we got a great nights sleep each night.

The only thing that was challenging was the staircase to the bedrooms. As it is an old building it was steep and winding. Although my husband and I had no problems running up and down the stairs, our elderly parents had to be very cautious when using the staircase. There is however a banister and this did not ruin our break and our parents would be happy to stay again. Just something to be aware of if you are travelling with persons who have limited mobility.
