Birthday get away

Visited to celebrate my 40th birthday with my family. The venue was modern well presented and immaculate. Loved all the wee quirky items, like cereal, well equipped in each room and even had face clothes to remove your make up! Will absolutely be back here in the warmer months

The front step was too small and steep, my mum almost fell twice when leaving the flat. I slept on the pull out sofa and I hardly slept due to the poor kitchen blind not stopping the street lighting. The pull out bed mattress was unbelievably uncomfortable and thin.

The apartment was perfect for the single traveller and ideally located behind the High Street. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The host left many thoughtful and unexpected extras that were really appreciated. Peebles is a great place to stay whilst exploring the Scottish borders and boasts a good selection of eateries, drinkeries and shops.

Spoiled by noise from neighbours

All good apart from relentless noise from neighbouring property, flat 32/4, day and evening, constant shouting, playing tv and music loudly, which spoiled the trip. I think the problem of noise from the neighbours property makes this property unsuitable for letting

Great location and good value for money.

The location couldn't have been better. Communication was excellent. There are plenty of places to eat and drink locally. The facilities were great and the owner had left milk, tea and cereals which helped.

There was some noise coming through from the neighbour's property with loud music for a short while.

A very nice apartment in a quiet location though very close to all amenities.

The property was clean and had excellent facilities. We enjoyed the breakfast items which we gratefully used. We appreciated the free parking either on street or a short walk away. Our host, Kasia, sent easy to follow check-in details which we thank her for.

We thought that the blinds in the bedroom failed to make the room dark enough to sleep properly.

A very pleasant stay, and I look forward to the next time I can go back.

The apartment was super comfortable. The bed was amazing. It was all incredibly well clean and organised, and there were lots of little touches that showed the hosts really care about the guests' experience. If I'm back in Peebles, I'll be looking to stay here again. The whole apartment seemed recently refurbished and was very tastefully decorated. The booking facilities are also great.

Only one small thing, which is the neighbour in the next door apartment has a loud voice and talked into the night. Fortunately I had earplugs.

Good base in Peebles

Very clean and well maintained apartment. Comfy bed and good shower. Host left lots of extras-breakfast cereals, bread, milk, tea and coffee and more. Good location for the High Street and all its amenities. We would book this property again.

Beautiful apartment in Peebles

Excellent communication from start to finish. The apartment is located in central Peebles but still easy to find parking out front after hours, alternative parking behind the unit if needed. All the lovely little extras such as cereal, milk, butter, and snacks way beyond anything else we've found. We definitely plan to return and stay a few nights next visit.

Car parking places suggested by owner were full during day and had to use paid parking 5 mins walk away no problem as sunny weather but could be in rainy weather

Highly recommended

What a surprise to walk into a clean, very neat apartment and immediately feel at home. There was everything in the kitchen, even a whole loaf of bread, milk, butter in the fridge, there were also biscuits, jam and lots more. Many thanks to a wonderful hostess who makes it so easy for travelers to feel at home in her unit and pays attention to even the smallest detail. Highly recommended, thank you very much!

The host had added lots of extras. They had all your needs covered! We have stayed in lots of self-catering flats, but this flat was excellent! The host had thought of everything you might need. The flat was very central but very quiet too.

Liked everything - lovely, comfortable little apartment in town, parking no problem. Nice pub and Indian nearby. And so many thoughtful touches to the apartment i.e. useful kitchen and bathroom items. Very handy as we were on the move. Convenient for Edinburgh Airport as only 45 mins away.

Hele fijne plek om te verblijven

Zeer schoon, voorzien van alle gemakken, zoals bijvoorbeeld een paraplu, zelfs vers brood en melk lagen klaar. Ruim appartement met een prima bed.

De voordeur lag aanzienlijk hoger dan de stoep met slechts een smal treetje om op te stappen. Voor minder valide personen kan dat een probleem vormen.
