Alright bar shower

Easy to find, lots of space in the lounge area.

Single beds were quite uncomfortable. Shower was barely usable with a hand held shower head and no water pressure.

Comfortable and clean, 3 bedrooms, shower & 2 toilets, convenient parking, good value caravan near Edinburgh.

Close to Edinburgh and the beach , well appointed with crisp clean white sheets. Tea, coffee, sugar etc. I had read some reviews that made me worry before I got there. I needn’t have worried. It is a static caravan with loads of living space, a decent shower, 2 toilets, 3 bedrooms. Booking in was a breeze - the owner had registered my car, the lady at the barrier gave us directions it was easy to find. The owner sent a map too but it was tiny on my phone (the key box was simple to use and meant as a group we could come and go knowing whoever got back first would have a key to get in.) Parking was just outside the caravan. When we got in, it was clean and comfortable, boys were happy with TV.

Not a lot to say here, it is a little dated but for the price I thought it was great. The single beds in caravans are narrow for adult men.

Looked like we had the oldest caravan on the site. Various things were broken. What Looked like Mould in the freezer.

The small toilet when door closed we couldn’t open from inside we popped a small towel above the door to insure we didn’t get locked in.

No bed sheets supplied, tv Ariel hanging off caravan , very poor signal, WiFi doesn’t work, hinges and handles on doors hanging off, no grill trey. Something rotting in freezer section of fridge.

We weren't familiar with caravans so the single beds aren't great for adults (as you probably know). It would be fine for a family. Not Great for 4 adults.

Pleasant Stay, But Needs Minor Improvements

The location was great and communication with the owner was both helpful and quick. The directions were clear and easy to understand. The breakfast nook was nice in that it could comfortably seat 4-6 people. There were several food places on site, and there was an arcade, theater, children's amusement center, indoor pool, and outdoor playground available, so a lot of activities to do with family, which was great. The price was also great not only for the actual site, but also decent for the food options within the caravan park.

This was certainly not the owners' fault, as I'm sure they hire a cleaning service to clean their caravan after each guest, but there were leftover used socks under the one bed and inside one of the drawers in the bedrooms, and there were either toenail or fingernail clippings on our nightstand. The bedsheets and floors seemed clean though. The kitchen was not fully equipped as the listing stated. It could really do with maybe a large serving bowl, and updated pots and pans as the few available were small and not great. It was very nice that there was coffee, tea, and sugar, but salt and pepper could be nice to include in the future. Extra rubbish bags would've been nice as well. I do understand this is a pet friendly place, but the curtains could really use updating as they were all torn and looking rough. The listing also stated there would be views, but the only view you're going to see are other caravans, which is fine, just not accurate with the listing. The shower head kept falling off the stand, which was rather annoying and the shower head itself was cracked and spraying water out of the handle in two places. Other than these minor issues, it was a decent place to stay for a few nights and I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a decent place for a decent price.

The accommodation was outstanding and would recommend to everyone… I had a great stay with comfort and was like a home away from home. Andrew the host was outstanding and easily contactable, a really nice approachable guy who was more than helpful!

Good ideal for a short base

Location suited us

Caravan clean and tidy the o my thing that let it down was unfortunately pretty much all the curtains are ripped or damaged . Has potential to be tidied up with replacements . There was a lot of extras kitchen tea sugar sauce etc and bathroom shampoo shower gel etc things which was great for our stay to use great. Beds very comfortable and clean Would stay there again

Mouldy curtains, a bit dated, not very clean, random stuff left from previous occupants, bad water pressure and no WiFi despite implying there would be. For us to find out we had to walk to the main building on site if we wanted WiFi, was none in the caravan

Clean and cosy.

Lack of communications between the host with the security guards. We was told buy the host that bring the cards would be fine. However the security made it very awkward for us despite us showing the confirmation email we received. Took us a good 15 minutes of talking to the different guards who each said to each other... I'm not getting into trouble.... Which want good for us to hear

Very nice and quite peaceful stay

The caravan was nice, Reasonably clean and comfortable, but could do with a deep clean. The staff on the site informed us at the last minute that the owner has not registered us so they are unable to let us in. This was even after we have paid and received a confirmation of the booking. I think there should be more communication with the owners and the team.

The staff of havens were not helpful. The caravan was nice but could do with a deep clean and my ore bed linen and towels.

Worst family break

To be quite honest just fact security on gate but that was it as not family break we expected

The fact I booked this park as ot was dog friendly but digs was only allowed on beach which was off site and on site ground not allowed anywhere in the facilities kinda ruined our break as was out site so can be with dog and we couldn't all be out on site as point of bringing dog was to have time with her not leaving her locked in caravan might aswell put her in kennels
