Location nice and quiet. Property itself exceeded expectation with lots of extras, tea coffee etc, wash up products even washing machine pods if required, others have said not enough crockery etc but we did not have that experience even plastic for kids, we had dog and took our own bowls etc but there were also bowls provided.
When we booked did say in description there were 4 bathrooms but only 2, since we were with family was not too much of inconvenience but did expect the 4, perhaps a typo ?

The property offered spacious accommodation for a family of 8, kitchen was on the small side.
On arrival the house was cold however it soon heated up. Location wise it was peaceful and quiet.
On arrival we noticed the property was exceptionally dark minimum exterior lighting, the road approaching the cottage was somewhat bumpy with potholes.
Bedding appeared to be clean however comfort level of the beds was debatable. The bathroom upstairs to accommodate x5 adults was only supplied with one hand towel. There was 3 women that stayed that all needed an additional towel for hair washing. Not acceptable
Pressure in the up stairs shower was a trickle, again not acceptable.
The living room did not have enough comfortable seating for 8 people - who wants to sit on a dinning room chair for 4 days.
Moving on to the kitchen, again there was not adequate enough cutlery or plates for 8 people - only 4 soup spoons, 6 desert spoons only 6 knives, 6 forks and 7 side plates. What was the other two people meant to eat their Christmas dinner with?? Disgraceful!
We had to go to the neighbour and ask to borrow cutlery, this was terribly embarrassing. This should not have happened.
Last point would be the cleanliness of the cottage, we had to clean all the cups and the majority of the glasses. The bottoms of white socks were alarming.
