A lovely welcome from the owner the property is set on a working farm. So peaceful with beautiful scenery. The hut was amazing, very clean and comfortable with its own dedicated washroom.
There wasn’t a mirror in the shepherds hut. And an umbrella for trips to the bathroom would be useful 😄

We booked 3 nights self-catering, the actual living area of the retro-wheeled, old-style unit is quite spacious with a two seat sofa and the double bed that was very comfortable, the thing that struck me straight away was how very clean everything was, absolutely spotless. Another plus is how well laid out it is, with stone-chip pathways between the separate shower and toilet, which looked and worked perfectly. Both the owners are really nice polite folk and are in no way overbearing or showy, If you want to go to an expensive, sterile Edinburgh Hotel go crack on but for me this beats a city hotel anyday, I honestly can't recommend Roslin Glamping enough and will certainly be returning very shortly, 10 out of 10 for me

The Shepard's hut was really nice, cosy and clean. There was a heater which kept it warm. Peaceful site, nice views. The site and hut were kitted out well with everything you need for the stay. Good value for Edinburgh
