The owner Claire was very helpful. She responded to all my messages immediately and allowed us to check in early. She had bought 2 converter chargers for us and left them in the room. We are grateful for the note and chocolates she left in the room. The location of the house is very close to the train station. So you can arrive home immediately without spending much time on the difficult streets of Edinburgh with luggage. And also walking distance to Edinburgh's must-see attractions. The house is large enough. We could use the cooker. Suitable for short daily stays.
As is the case with most houses in Edinburgh Old Town, the house is in a historic building. Cold is coming from the gap between the windows. The bathroom and kitchen were usable but not clean enough. There was hair in the bathtub. Our early check-in may have caused this. I booked this house because I had to cook and it had an oven and cooker, but the oven did not work. Kitchen appliances need to be renewed. The inside of the pot was so dirty, we couldn't use it even if we cleaned it. You pick up the room key from another location 5 minutes away.
