Leithen Lodge

location was excellent for us, quiet and beautiful . an old house with plenty of character. plenty of easy accessible parking. good cooking facilities. pleasant and helpful hosts. plentiful hot and cold water.

no shower just an old bath which is a bit difficult to get in and out of. no accessible opening windows. no dish cleaning brush, pot scrubber or cleaning cloths in the kitchen.

What a fantastic stay at Leithen Lodge in Innerleithen. The location was absolutely perfect for a cycling adventure weekend, with incredible riding right on the doorstep and stunning scenery all around. The accommodation itself was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed after long days out exploring. It felt like a real home away from home. The peaceful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind in the evenings. The hosts were brilliant throughout, welcoming, friendly and helpful, which really added to the overall experience. I stayed here while attending the Muck n Mac festival and honestly couldn’t have picked a better base. Whether you’re visiting for cycling, hiking or simply to enjoy the Scottish Borders, I’d highly recommend Leithen Lodge. Would absolutely stay again!

Hosts were great and location excellent

The apartment was conveniently located for us with parking. Ample room for 4 of us.

We arrived a little earlier than expected and couldn't initially find anyone to get the key. Would have been helpful to have a key security box. The apartment was very cold and wouldn't warm up with the limited heaters in there. We were too cold to sit in the living room, as the heater only made a noise and looked like it was on but no heat coming from it. The bathroom was also very cold.
