Location and value great for family visit.

Location . Price and warmth.

Could not work out how to operate oven to warm croisants for breakfast ( child loc on oven???). As i am a little unsteady on my feet the upstairs bathroom was minor issue and we never seemed to have enough hot water for 6 guests.

Amazing location , everything except upper bathroom lovely new & fresh

The upstairs bathroom , stairs were slippy , felt exposed at window & bath grouting needs attention . Lower level done to such a high quality it was a Shame about the little things

A bit disappointed.

Very handy for the town but also nice and quiet, no street noise.

Surprised about the outstanding reviews being so good. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the property, spiders in the hallway, dust on some of the surfaces and mirror. Found glass of water beside the bed. Better lighting down the outside staircase near the top.

great value for money for a group and superb location

Very cosy flat, clean, nice kitchen and great location for a weekend trip to Peebles. The hosts were very welcoming and even allowed us an early checkin when the room was ready.

occasional spider crawling in the hallway, we didn't mind too much but if someone is scared of them they might want to choose something else than a ground floor flat in an old scottish house

Clean, spacious, comfy beds and a great location perfect stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, really spacious, and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy everyone slept so well. It’s also in a great location within the town which made things really convenient. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

The stairs leading down to the property were steep which made getting a double buggy difficult to get up and down. No biggie!

Excellent stay in a vintage building.

Location is just off the hight street. Only issues are with availability of on site parking. This was mentioned in the listing though, but sometimes it is difficult to understand until you reach the exact spot.I travelled with family and had some luggage. This was difficult to load and unload. The area is no stopping. Took us a long time to load. Shona is very accommodative though. She allowed us ample time to load. I apologise to her also for the trouble.

Stairs

The location was fantastic. The host is very nice and pleasant

I asked how many stairs ro the property and was told a few. I think about 15 is more than a few. Alsoo I asked I'f apartment all on one level and was told yes once in. The main bathroom was up a flight of stairs and was not accessible to my mother I also explained stairs were a problem to my mum and told again once in there was no isue my mum was unable to make it too the main bathroom for a shower there was also food in the freezer which had been in there that long it was covered over with ice and stuck.

An ideal family place in the heart of the town

The apartment was very nice and I could see how much effort had gone into turning the old gaol into a nice living space. Although we never met Shona in person all communication was excellent and there adequate information in a folder in the lounge. The equipment and facilities were very good.

Appartement impeccable avec 2 grandes chambres, un salon/salle à manger, une cuisine et la sdb à l'étage. Emplacement en plein centre-ville. parking gratuit de l'autre côté du pont. Excellents restaurants.
