Orchard Cottages at Gorton House

Adorable location, très bien équipée, décorée avec goût, au calme . Café, sucre ,thé, huile ,sel poivre fournis c est fort appréciable.

Prévoir 20 min de route depuis Edinbourg ( sur le plan on se rend pas forcément compte ). Notre avion a eu beaucoup de retard, donc impossible de récupérer notre voiture de location à 23h30 ( au lieu de 21h) , nous avons donc dû prendre un taxi donc arrivés au lodge à 0h30... le problème c est que pour récupérer la voiture le lendemain aucun uber ne voulait nous prendre... heureusement le petit guide d accueil du lodge est très bien fait et nous y avons trouvé les coordonnées des taxis. Nous avons eu du mal a trouver comment mettre le chauffage dans la salle de bain l interrupteur étant dans le salon en bas avec les prises.

Could have been more electric sockets. Shower a bit temperamental, it changed temperature without touching it from cold to hot unexpectedly . I would have taken dishwasher out and put a cupboard in it's place for groceries.. But overall a great stay

Nice secluded area

On arrival, it was lucky I had a torch to see lock box, the cottage was absolutely freezing having to sit in jackets until going to Tescos to get a fan heater, no WI-FI unless stood in the middle of lawn, the drop from the patio doors is to large requires a further step both my partner and have arthritis and then from the car park needs illuminating to the door, don’t know if the beige spaniel was the owners but it had a poo and I had to clean it up and it shouldn’t be allowed to get in the individual lawned areas, con webs on lounge lights
