We were in Avignon to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. La Petite Saunerie was in an excellent location. It was a 3 min walk to the Palais de papas and was super close to all the great restaurants and the central part of town including Les Halles d’Avignon market. We ate their for lunch and dinner with our friends from Thailand. The host and her husband were so kind and accommodating. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and conversations every morning during our 6 night stay. There was one rainy night where we couldn’t get a restaurant reservation and our host’s husband called the restaurant that was fully booked and somehow got us a table. If we are in Avignon again we would stay here again.

Very warm and friendly hosts who went the extra mile to help us.
Nothing at all. It was a very pleasant clean home. In a fabulous position

Perfect location on a quiet street close to the center. Beautifully decorated rooms. Home made breakfast. Owners go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and enjoy the city.

The room was very clean.
The breakfast was good.
The location was good, close to the town centre,
The room was on the ground floor fronting onto a dark alley which in turn made the room dark.
