It was well located in a quiet area near to Melton Mowbray

It would have been great to have a small starter pack or milk, bread etc to get us started. We had travelled along way and hadn’t had a chance to pick up any provisions.

Excellent accommodation in good location

Very clean and nicely decorated in pleasant location near the nature park. Had a slight issue on the shower which was outside of their control and the owner was really superb and fixed it immediately, cannot praise them higher enough. Definitely stay again

A good place for a family to stay while visiting friends and family

The interior was well presented and very clean. Although we only used the microwave, and fridge, the house was fully equipped. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the town centre. Parking for one car, or maybe two if they are small. Host was quick to answer any questions before our arrival. Tesco a short distance away. Would stop there again with our family.

Three small things, but worth a mention. The weather was brilliant when we stayed in August, but the grass in the back garden had not been cut for a while. Therefore it was not ideal for the grand kids to play in the secure back garden. Felt the back garden let down the rest of the house and lacked maintenance. One of the main bedroom bedside lights was not working. I know it is a little thing, but the downstairs toilet door was so squeaky that it woke up the grandchildren in bed upstairs. Some washing liquid was a temp fix. Received two emails with leaving the property instructions the day after checkout!

Weekend away in Melton Mowbray

Nice comfortable clean house with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Nicely located for the town centre and surrounding area. Can easily walk into the town centre if you wished. Would definitely stay again. Pork pies from the Olde Pork Pie Shoppe in town are superb.

Kitchen is quite narrow but was suitable for what we wanted.

trip to Melton in a cosy house

a complete house with everything you need. the bathroom ( and the shower ) was the best we could have asked for. bedrooms are perfect. host is easy to contact and very helpful

kitchen is a bit cramped house wasn’t ready when we first arrived but the host took care of it in the best way possible

Lovely little find!

Great location,, 15 minute walk from town. Spotlessly clean, great communication from hosts. They delivered us extra crockery very quickly when asked. Great shower, lovely space.

Kitchen is a little small, but fine. Extra seat needed in the living room if you have five people.

There were areas that were not particularly clean e.g. some dirty cutlery, sticky shelves, wrappers down side of bed. The mattresses are very soft and you can feel the springs.

The house was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated but the garden could be a little tidier. The drive is suitable for a medium sized car but there is also parking available on Doctor's Lane.

very modern….. everything you need. 5 minute drive to twin lakes which is what we were there for. it’s more or less in the small town so good to have a little walk around the shops. smart tv so we could sign into Netflix. also wifi

I dropped the host an email ahead of time, and was answered very quickly. The property was absolutely lovely, beautifully decorated, and within walking distance of Melton Mowbray town. There was plenty of space to get the car on the drive, and it was exactly what we were looking for.

There's really nothing, we had a lovely stay.

House felt like home and was convenient for touring the area

It was very clean and very attractively decorated. The beds and furniture were all comfortable and clean. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were modern and easy to use.

This is not to the detriment of the property and did not spoil our time at the property but it would have been safer if there had been a grab rail in the shower and at. the top of the stairs on the right hand side . This is more of a suggestion than a complaint and would be safer especially for any older visitors.

Excellent good value for money

A small property well equipped street parking outside and also parking on the drive. Has a small garden and the property is well equipped to cook , it was very clean and well presented. The property is located down a quiet road with no access at end so quiet , located within distance of town centre although a walk plenty of transport available.

The key access lock is a little bit fiddly, I would just add that the bathroom is downstairs in case of anyone with mobility issues
