Comfortable stay with good amenities

Lovely apartment, booked last minute whilst visiting our son at the university and our other booking was cancelled last minute! Hosts were available and responsive during the stay. Comfortable stay with free parking, plenty of hot water, good heating, tea and coffee available.

Little tricky to find in the dark as postcode takes you a bit further up the street

Comfy and cosy apartment, would highly recommend

It was relatively clean and cosy inside, loved the fact that the apartment we were booked in had a private courtyard area. The beds were very comfy and shops were all very close to the location.

Was a bit difficult to find as the postcode takes you past the apartment, but once we parked on the road and walked up the street we found it.

Cosy stopover for work or travel

Brilliant place to stay for individuals and couples. Has everything you need for a short stay with a cosy feel. I was staying for work and this was ideally located, whilst it was handy having my own space and the option to prepare meals. Nice hot shower and ample parking worth calling out too. Would definitely stay again for work or flying from East Midlands.

Bed was quite uncomfortable but only used one of them. Mattress could do with replacing as it felt quite worn with little firmness. The shower head was also loose so tricky to have a shower. Noted cobwebs on ceiling and blinds were dusty as some minor points to note too.

Well kitted out and comfy apartment with a pub and shops close by. We stayed for one night and it was great. Communication with hots was also great. Would stay here again

A very involved high security check to get code for key entry. We had a very unexpected surprise to learn we needed to deposit a £100 security deposit. This together with a very laborious security procedure meant it took more than an hour to gain entry. Parking was congested with all four appartments occupied.

It was adequate

Parking was very challenging through a very narrow gateway - it would have helped for the instructions to have included the need to reverse into the space. We drove in carefully and then had to reverse out again very carefully - as there was no room to manoeuvre into the space between two other cars. We started again and reversed into the space as there were no spaces close by on the street. Towels were the thinnest I have ever had. Sheets were uncomfortably low quality - bobbly cheap fabric. Duvets were bargain basement and thin. Mattresses were tired and basic. 3/4 cooking pans were scratched and burned - and unuseable. Cutlery was basic - lower quality than IKEA. Shower fittings were insecure. Drain in one shower smelled.

Clean, friendly, great location.

Great location. Basic but had what we needed for our stay. It was great to have our own space rather than staying in a hotel. Clean and tidy. Communication was great, I had some queries before staying and they were very helpful with information and prompt!

The only downside was there was only enough tea making bits for one night rather than two, we just popped to the co-op round the corner though.

The location was superb, great apartment, good access, and great food very close ( Napal/Indian restaurant best I have eaten anywhere) In all a great base to go and explore from. I would return here.

The apartment was a little grubby in places and a little tired. The mattress springs have seen better days, and the sofa/sofa bed needs replacing. It's very uncomfortable to sit on. That having said it's just minor things, I would still return here.

The property was clean. it has a good bathroom, and a good sized ‘living’ area for the combined kitchen and lounge. There are plenty of utensils in the kitchen, and it has a car park right outside the front door, which is small and you have to be careful, especially if you have a large car, but overall, it is just a very nice stay.

The only thing I could say (and I’m being a little persnickety here) is that the carpets look like they are getting a little old and worn by this point…

This was an nice apartment to base our explorations out of - we did day trips to Nottingham, Loughborough, and Sherwood. There are multiple nice restaurants and pubs within a block. There are basic dishes and a grocery store within a 2 minute walk. The unit was really clean and quiet.

Superb base for the week, and I would certainly stay here again.

It was self catered, so my breakfast was great! the location was ideal for my week at Donington Park. Very convenient for pubs, shops and restaurants too. Great value for money.

I didn`t like the fact that the boiler was broken on a freezing cold day of arrival, but it was fixed and toasty within the hour so can`t fault the service.

Lovely apartment, great location! Definitely recommend and will be returning next year when the racing is back!

Beds were super comfy, even the sofa bed was comfortable for a sofa bed. Loved finding a cafetière, perfect as I brought my coffee and didn’t need the filters. Communication from the property was great too.

Only slight gripe was that a smart tv would be nice so we could’ve cast our Netflix, Amazon, YouTube etc. to the tv from our phones.

A lovely peaceful stay in a lovely village and superbly located for the Race Track

The location was brilliant as we were visiting for Convoy in the park at Donington Race Track Close to Shops, Restaurants and Pubs The accommodation was very quiet we all slept very well

The Sofa Bed was really uncomfortable the mattress was paper thin and no Bedding was left for it.
