Exceptional
A beautiful, spacious property with multiple bathrooms on both levels. Comfortable and roomy and next door to a lovely pub. Off road parking and excellent facilities (large fridge/freezer in utility room etc.) all round.
The property gets very hot in the sun - although several fans have been very thoughtfully and kindly provided for the bedrooms. The WiFi is a little weak, but that's not a huge issue if you're enjoying a short stay.

Top Quality Cottage
Very spacious cottage with all the mod cons. Good access and parking. Lovely, private garden. Very close to the lovely Calke Abbey.
Settee is terribly uncomfortable. Entrance door is dangerously low; a headbanger.

it was comfortable, clean, warm and the bedrooms were all spacious. Well stocked with kitchen utensils and crockery etc.
it was quiet, comfortable, warm and well designed with great bedrooms and spacious communal areas.
shame there wasn’t enough sofa space for 6 people and the pillows could do with an upgrade.

Lovely property that I would recommend to others
Well furnished property in lovely location. Coped well with a group aged 2 to 68 and had sufficient plates etc to allow us to offer a buffet lunch to visitors with young children
Virtually impossible to contact our hosts in advance to ask basic questions eg where is the nearest supermarket. Don’t know why because when we arrived the guest information folder was excellent. Lots of steps making it difficult for people with mobility problems. A handrail on the wall beside the steps up to the garden would be helpful
