Would stay there again in a heartbeat because of its location and quietness.
Location excellent. Only 10minute walk to the main shopping centre. Bus stops very close if needed. We loved the quietness of our apartment.
Honestly we have no complaints. We were relaxed and happy the whole time.

I stayed at Central Apartment in Derby and it was by far the worst accommodation experience I've ever had. I’m writing this review to help others avoid the same mistake – please read this before booking. I truly hope you’re reading this before you book – not after!
When I arrived, someone met me to hand over the keys and immediately demanded a £295 deposit in cash – something that was never mentioned anywhere in the Booking.com listing. This was a complete shock. If you're planning to book this apartment for £500 a week, be aware that you’ll be expected to pay nearly £800 upfront, with no prior warning.
The flat is located in a council estate area, and the communal areas smell absolutely awful – like rats are living there. It’s genuinely disgusting and unsettling from the moment you enter the building.
The condition of the flat itself is appalling:
Dust, dirt, cobwebs, and spiders throughout the apartment.
The living room chair was so filthy I had to cover it with blankets just to sit down.
The sofa had thick layers of dirt in the creases (see photos).
The balcony was so dirty it made me feel sick stepping out onto it.
The bathroom was in poor, unclean condition – and to make matters worse, there was no soap, no shampoo, and no basic toiletries provided. I had to use the cheapest Aldi hand wash for everything during my stay. I was working long hours and didn’t have the chance to get to a shop – picture attached.
The quality of the towels was awful – I genuinely have better cloths for cleaning my floors than what they provided as bath towels. The bedding was also poor quality, worn out and uncomfortable.
It’s painfully clear that whoever is running this property is only focused on profit, cutting corners wherever possible. Everything is done as cheaply as possible, with zero thought for guest comfort. They are incredibly tight with money, and it shows in every detail of the stay.

Tracy is a wonderful person and has helped a lot during the stay. The apartment is loaded with all amenities required for day to day. Peaceful neighborhood.

Great value for money
Location is great. Just 10 mins walk to the largest mall in town. Dining outside is easy and convenient.
Particulars like the Bean Cafe nearby.
The apartment itself is clean and spacious. The kitchen have got all the utensils and cutlery ready for use. Parking at secured area helps to ease my worry about hit and run if parking on street.
Everything is good but if there is anything to be improved would be the mattress. It's a little bit too soft.
Other than that I would recommend this apartment to all travellers.
