Disappointed

Lovely big and spacious flat with easy local acesses. Lovely big TV in living room and bedroom and comfy bed.

Size isn't everything. We had a disappointing stay for the below reasons. Main reason owner resealed the bathroom that morning of our arrival and whilst we understand the need to do maintenance surely, as we were only staying for one night it could have been done another time as property was empty all the following week. Bathroom stank all night and we could not really use it. Owner did let us know that day he had done it but at that point, we could not rearrange. On to the property side of things. Lacked basic comforts and items. Limited cooking utensils, knifes, etc pizza trays and very limited plates etc. No instructions on using the boiler or cooker etc which was a shame as the property was cold and I could not get the boiler to turn up. A small space heater would not gone a miss. In the bedroom only 1 thin pillow each and no spare blankets. However biggest issue were the down stairs neighbours which were noisy all night and the walls were very thin. One property that looks good but really does not deliver a good stay at all. Owner needs to work on the hosting side of things with the draw backs of the bad neighbours if he wants to keep letting this property. Great property for sound sleepers/people used to noisy places etc. .

Clean, comfortable, spacious and trendy

Spacious, clean and comfortable. It was beautiful decorated, I like the grey theme. I felt safe too. I could not fault it. Location was perfect too.

I am a light sleeper anyway. Someone’s alarm was beeping for 30 mins at 1am. But that’s only a minor thing. Overall great!!

Relaxing venue to attend friends party nearby, much better than a chain hotel. Thankyou!

Space. Bright, fresh feel. We could have lived there quite happily. We loved being able to walk easily into town centre. We also liked walking along the old overgrown and out of use docks. Local people we met were really great.

On street parking could be a challenge sometimes. We would have liked a dishcloth to wipe down surfaces and to wash up with. Personal taste - we don't like room fresheners but were able to remove battery and so turn it off. We would have liked the guides to equipment to have been stored in a folder. All very minor challenges of no real consequence.

Spacious and comfortable stay in Burton

Lovely space with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay whilst attending Bloodstock. Jason was a superb host, really helpful and accommodating. Rebooked for next year!

Parking is on the street but not necessarily outside the property. Not an actual issue for us though, as we parked on arrival and didn’t use our car again until we checked out.

We do not recommend this place.

We did not stay in the property after all. The description said there was on-site parking but this was NOT the case. We didn't think our motorbikes would be safe outside as there were people riding around on other motorbikes with no number plates, wearing masks and hoods ~ no helmets. CCTV would not be able to identify those who may have helped themselves. We contacted the host. We asked for a refund. Despite hearing that we could not stay the first time as there was no on-site parking, he offered us a free stay at another time! We asked for a refund as what was provided did not match the property description. It is up to you but we would not recommend this place.

A great find!

This is a really well kept property with super comfortable beds (memory foam I think.) Lovely, large flat-screen TVs in the lounge and both bedrooms and a really responsive and helpful owner.
