great layout, ideal location for planned trip. great communication with owner. well equipped there was plenty of milk sachets, sugar, tea, coffee and hot chocolate to have a drink as soon as we arrived. the beds were comfy, each bedroom had a lock and key for each door, not that we used this but thought it was a nice feature. bathroom was well equipped with toilet roll, hand wash, towels and shower gel. there was a nice welcome basket in the living room with cookies, which was greatly appreciated. there was a large sofa in the living room. easy to connect to the free Wi-Fi and tv set up was easy to use. thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Booking was cancelled last minute.

I never got to stay in the property.. my booking was cancelled at the last minute due to a “burst pipe” and I had to find alternative accommodation with very little notice. It created a very stressful day and I was really disappointed in the lack of communication between host and myself. I had been trying to contact the property the day before check in to get the access codes needed to enter the property etc.. no response.. when trying to call the host the morning of check in.. the phone was turned off. I was offered assistance from the host in finding alternative accommodation and when I asked for the recommendation for alternatives, they just stopped replying. Very disappointed. From reading prior reviews, it’s bot the first time they’ve cancelled a booking last minute either. I understand issues can happen but the sheer lack of communication and then having to front another £200 for alternative accommodation was incredibly stressful.

Host cancelled the booking as we were standing in front of the door. They had called earlier to say they needed to change the locks, so we agreed to a later check in time. When we arrived the door code to get the key did not work so we called the host. She answered and said she would text it to us, but when nothing came, we called again and it went to voicemail. After waiting we called again and she answered and said the booking was cancelled, but we had not had any notification of that from booking.com. We heard someone inside so knocked on the door and pressed the ring doorbell but no answer. As we sat in the car trying to find alternative accommodation we saw the curtains move, but no one had the courtesy to apologise or let us know the reason for cancelling at the last minute.

Could have let us know by phone that the booking was cancelled so we could make alternative arrangements! She called twice in the morning to ask to push back the check in time, so could easily have called us again. Very poor host.

Property was very clean and we felt very safe & any amenities weren’t far from the property and the owner was very helpful when we needed her :) we were only a short walk to work and we had on sight parking would highly recommend this property

The best value for money you will ever find. A comfortable retreat for workers and travellers alike

Exceptional value for money. Cosy lounge with large sofa and massive TV with all the channels you'll ever need. Dinning table in Kitchen makes for comfortable meals with all the stuff needed to prepare your own but plenty of good local takeaways for delivery. Stayed in the good s if you are looking for good v are looking for aized double the other room is a single. Tip, book the double and you'll only have to share the bathroom with one other person.

Location is in the middle of a housing estate a little out of town. But worth the slight inconvenience if you are looking for good value

Fresh towel, toiletries and a selection of snacks and tea was provided for free! I would most definitely recommend this everyone and should I need to book in the future, I’d be sure to check out the availability here first.

I had a wonderful stay here. The house is warm, tidy and homely. There were snacks and bottled water in the room at check-in. There's aldi, Asda and other convenience shops nearby nearby, as well as several buses to the hospitals, university and the City Centre. Very understanding host - I stayed to be close to a relative in QMC. One of my best stays in Nottingham far from the noise of the city. 10/10 recommended!

Fortune made it her top priority to ensure I was comfortable and familiar with the amenities around the property. She also maintained great communication and professionalism throughout. Exceptional!

So glad I found this exceptional place in Nottingham. Fortunes place was exactly as the photos and description say. Fortune just made you feel at home, she clearly follows the spirit of hosting despite being away for work most times. She has a driveway for a car, which is handy as well as kitchen facilities. The room and bathroom was spotless. Loved that the rooms are separate from the living area and it gave me so much privacy I felt right at home. I highly recommend and would be booking again next week!

Low cost but very clean suitable for short visits

This is a residential property in the suburbs of Nottingham. Easy to find access was good. Off road parking was available. Bedroom was comfortable and very clean. Access to the room did not require going through the property. Good for low cost in and out. I have paid a lot more for a lot less. Plenty of plugs to charge things WiFi signal very good

Fortune was a very polite lady.

The size of the room and no in room entertainment, could only use the telly downstairs would’ve been much better with a telly in the room as it was a shared accommodation
