Definitely worth the money and will likely return in the future if we were to come back to Nottingham.

Nice spacious room with modern decor and clean, white sheets/ towels. Bathroom spacious enough and came with little bottles of shower gel/ hand soaps. Small selection of cutlery and dishes/ bowls which came in handy. Nicely stocked tea/ coffee station. The TV was a smart TV so we could hook up our netflix, yt etc which was great. I loved the brick wall and old style windows. Also we had great communication from our host in terms of how to collect our key cards and enter our room etc.

Unfortunately the shower drain was clogged so the water never drained (fixed this issue ourselves). Generally clean room however there was still some bits of rubbish on the floor (bits of paper etc) and unfortunately we found half a cigarette down the side of the fridge and a broken crack pipe on top of the wardrobe. Also personal preference but i found the bed far too soft/ giving and struggled a lot to sleep.

We’re fast becoming regulars

This was our second stay here. Like the first time, we liked the comfortable bed, smart tv, and heater that you can control yourself. Free parking also a bonus, though it was more difficult finding a space this time, and we had to park a few streets away. The last time we were here, we mentioned that the WiFi periodically cut out. This time, it worked great, which suggests the host looked into it and got it sorted.

Only complaint was there were some broken floor tiles just in front of the toilet, which had a mat over them. Unfortunately the mat was dirty from the last occupants. It would obviously be better if the tiles were fixed or at least covered with a clean mat. Other than this, the room was clean.

Comfortable, convenient and value for money

Close to the place I wanted to go, host kept in regular contact and instructions were clear and exact and I was very kindly upgraded which was a lovely surprise. Parking could possibly be a problem but I arrived early and found parking virtually straight away just round the corner. I will definitely stay here again when coming to Nottingham . Room was basic but catered for everything I needed and it was quiet! And very reasonable on price!

Nottingham short stay

Great location and price for what we needed. Easy to find parking on the street very close by. It's next to a lot of student accommodation but we didn't have any issues and certainly wasn't a problem for us. The shower was clean but could do with an upgrade - the tray fills up with water very quickly. Bed and bed linen super comfy and clean and there is a fridge with tea and coffee facilities if you need it. Everything there that we needed!

BED BUGS!!! AVOID! WE HAD TO LEAVE AT ALMOST 1 in the MORNING as the room is INFESTED.

The location was perfect as it is near the shops and only a 15 min walk to the city centre. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions at the beginning. For the price (before knowing about the bed bugs), it was initially ok for what we needed for a one night stay.

BED BUGS. We were preparing to sleep around midnight when we saw a bed bug crawling on the sheet. Upon further inspection of the bed, there were more bed bugs and eggs, particularly on the headboard. We cannot risk staying longer given the infestation, and that we don't want to bring any of these to our own home. We had to leave the accommodation at almost 1 in the morning earlier. I've messaged the host immediately and sent them photos of what we saw, but my message was left as "read" and I got no response at all. I have informed bookings.com about this. We demand a refund, even if the price we paid does not equal the stress and inconvenience that the state of the accommodation has caused us. There were molds in the bathroom, and the cracked bathroom sink under cabinet but these we were ok to pass on... but with the bed bugs infestation? This is unacceptable.

Simple accommodation at very low standard

It’s within a hotel run by others. When i had an issue following internet logging and heating controls the company number was a previous management company.I requested a room change as a gale force wind kept me awake as the windows wouldn’t close also the lift controls only took you down to the 1st floor as ground floor button wasn’t there.

Mediocre Motel Vibes

Good location. Great views from the 5th floor. I loved how the bedroom was in a loft. It was very unique.

The carpets need to be changed or removed. I had to kill a decent sized spider and a silver shiny bug in the bathroom, so it had me on edge all night thinking another bug would pop up and I barely got any sleep. The bathroom was ridiculously small, I couldn't even sit straight on the toilet because the wall was in the way. And the stairs to the loft creek horribly loud! You can even hear the person next door go up and down the stairs. The walls are paper thin.

The room was lovely and big, and we were very grateful for the fan with quality furnishings. The bed was comfortable, and the customer service was exceptional. The room was also quiet (once the noisy neighbour issue was sorted). It's in an excellent location for partying in town (5 quid uber), and on street parking nearby is relatively easy to access. We will definitely be returning!

Our upstairs neighbours were being elephants at a rave. I messaged on booking.com, not expecting a reply. Within 10 minutes, the issue was resolved, with immediate and professional responses. It's truly one of the best experiences I've had (not that I complain all the time. It was really loud). The bathroom has seen better days, but it was clean and functional.

I liked that it had a balcony

The room was excessively hot. Granted I did arrive on a very hot day but I felt like someone should have pre prepped the room in way of going in earlier in the day and opening the balcony door to get some air into the room. It was like a green house..very very VERY hot- so hot that the wall heater felt like it was on high! The host did respond very quickly but said It wasn’t on at all but had obviously been retaining heat from the sun that had been beaming into the room. The kitchenette is cute BUT please note, the small fridge does NOT work WHILST inside the cupboard. The fridge needs ventilation for it to work correctly- after googling.. I realised I needed to pull it out of the cupboard as it shut itself off and would not work as a security feature-no light and not cold- once I took It out the cupboard it worked perfectly, light came on and it chilled lovely and cold as it should. These small things I think the host needs to know to make the next persons stay more pleasurable. The bed is upstairs in effectively the loft.. The heat up there is unbearable, there is a fan and air machine up there that make little difference. The fan just blows around hot air and the machine which u need to put water in was blowing Luke warm air. The accommodation would be 10 out of 10 bar those things I have mentioned that are all very fixable with a little bit more care I think.

The mattress was uncomfortable, the curtain pole was hanging off was unsafe and the chair underneath all the material was hanging off. Also, there were empty bottles of alcohol left in the hallway !! Dirty Curtains!

1 night stay in Nottingham.

Very nice clean property which had everything that I needed for a 1 night stay. Easy to get to on the tram from the main station. Would stay again.

Room was fine. A little stuffy but comfortable enough. It is a very nice old building and the area is fine. A 10 minute brisk walk into town.
