A lovely hotel away from the city.

Very comfortable in a beautiful setting away from the city. The room was very clean and tidy with the most comfortable bed and pillows. There was no noise from the restaurant downstairs and the outlook from the balcony is lovely. I highly recommend Hotel Nenuphar.

The lights were automated sensors that turned on as you entered, which was fine however this included heating in the bathroom which would be lovely in the cooler months however we stayed in summer and it was very uncomfortable standing in the bathroom to brush teeth, etc. If that could be overridden, that would be great. The stairs and passage are so dark we couldn’t find the passage to our room and the sensor lights didn’t turn on until you’re halfway up the stairs. This was frustrating and somewhat dangerous.

Eat, drink and sleep but do no expect to ve fresh in yhe morning.

Early morning delivery of drinks. You get woke up by a lorry which makes such a big noise that you won’t ever fall asleep. There is no reception and you cannot complain. There is no iron in the room either so you have to figure it out how to appear smart next morning. Tired and un-smart is quite a load for your day. Happily I didn’t kill anyone on the neighboring Lys river.

Situation Literie

Pas de personnel Pas de nettoyage de la chambre entre les deux nuitées!! Décharge de la douche complètement bouchée. Impossible de prendre une douche correcte. Refoulement de résidu par la crépine. Aucune intervention malgré les échanges par sms avec le responsable de l’hôtel dès le premier jour.
