The "Welcome Goodies" were very generous and thoughtful. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Very close to town, short drive or walk, close to ferry terminals, room was very well equipped, was a storm the first night we stayed and the owners checked in on us.

Lovely room with handy small kitchenette. Very clean, well appointed and breakfast and fridge items were very appreciated after a long day's drive. Could have been a bit hard to find except the host provided excellent directions.

Perfect location for overnight stay.

The room was perfect for our needs. Comfy bed. Everywhere clean and cereal and milk provided.

The only minor thing was that I didn’t find the hairdryer until the next morning! So a sign indicating its location under the bed would be welcome.

Good location in Oban, but over an hour drive to any tourist locations/hikes. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the bathroom ran on tank water which made very loud noises anytime we used the shower or toilet. Have to walk up the steep driveway which is tough with suitcases.

nice, relaxing stay in comfortable accomodation

room was a good size and bed, although a little low, was comfortable. the shower was good. we were very impressed with the items left for us in the fridge. use of the outside seating area overlooking Oban was appreciated

wasn't a major problem and nothing can be done about it, but the driveway is very steep which we knew before arrival anyway

A good base for a night in Oban

An ideal base for a night in Oban, and reasonably priced. Good facilities available and a comfortable bed. Good wifi and nice touches with milk, juice, cereal etc left for breakfast.

There was a plug in air freshener which gave me a headache, it was an extremely strong scent. I actually unplugged it and had to put it outside! I don't think the air freshener is needed as it's not a huge space. Also, I was anticipating this so it's not a negative for me, more of a flag for others, but the property is up a very steep driveway.

Lovely

The place was just amazing and spotlessly clean, but besides that what we loved the most were our hosts, which went out of their way in order to solve a small issue that happened to us with our booking. I would overall highly recommend this place for everybody who wants to visit the beautiful Oban.

A great place with a great view of Oban bay.

Breakfast was not included, but there was enough milk, cereal and tea and coffee to make a meal. The little kitchen corner was great for making a light meal in the evening. The room was super clean and comfortable. Quiet and 5 minutes from the town centre with a taxi, we walked it in 15 minutes.

The check out time was 10.00, it was a little early; otherwise nothing negative about this room.

It was a great central base to explore Oban. It was like home from home, even the small touches like fresh milk and some goodies in the fridge made it very welcoming. Even managed to sit out on the patio to enjoy the sunshine.

Suited my purposes very well.

Nice to have a kettle, fridge and microwave in the room, along with the complimentary bottle of water, milk and hand gel.

Could have done with a small easy chair in the room for comfort, rather than just bar stools. A very steep driveway to scale from the parking spot, which didn’t bother me, but may be difficult for the elderly or infirm.

A cosy and welcoming getaway.

The room itself was immaculate, cosy and so welcoming! The O’Rourke’s have created a little escape which is perfect for couples and provided everything you could possibly need for a night or two away. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get and it’s location is close to the main town of Oban. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend others staying while visiting Oban.
