Great Value for Money

I had a cozy little room for the night with everything I needed. It was toasty room, with a comfortable bed and a great night sleep. I was leaving early so didn't take up the offer of breakfast. Super value for money. I'd definately stop again.

This guest house is a gem of a place ....such excellent value and lovely friendly hosts. Lovely continental breakfast which was an unexpected bonus. We will definitely be back

Lovely to have real people on site next door. Breakfast and dining room lovel Room ok, very clean and smelling fresh, comfy beds, lovely fresh air but difficult as on 3rd floor for aging people

I was post surgery and not meant to be lifting so the suitcases were an issue for me and my husband. The shared bathroom was a challenge with a cue of people waiting to access at times We also had difficulty opening the door to get out of the bedroom …. A handle would help to pull the door towards you

We were told on arrival that there would no breakfast as chef on holiday, but in email confirmation it was still available

The smell of plug-in air freshners was overpowering!! Could also do with new bedding i.e. pillows and duvet. It also said online to be considerate when arriving back late at night, this didnt happen. Doors opening/shutting loudly at all hours

Fab wee stay

We liked how close it was to the hall that my daughter was dancing in and having the town literally on doorstep How clean the room was and also the shared bathroom. When we walked into the room it was like stepping into my grandma's house as it smelt so like it (not in a bad way I must add) My daughter loved the cosy dressing gowns said they were so soft

room was clean as were towels/bedding that smelt nice and fresh. Male host was much more pleasant.

Not the best welcome I've ever received, host looked as if she couldn't be bothered to get out her chair then was just matter of fact with no pleasantries. very small room with bed that slanted backwards. very strong smell of gloss (you can buy odourless paint these days) in room. dinning room was not pleasant at all with a carpet full of 20 years of spillages, old wall panelling from the 80s and breakfast was horrendous, better produce is available in 2025.

booked last minute as i had a job up in oban, great situated and very friendly, very clean, its basic for everything you need to put your head down at a really great price.

its a shared toilet but you cant complain at that due to the price, The facilities are all very clean and kept to a high standard. you get a sink in your room and tea and coffee and biscuits are left for you, nice touch

We booked a 3 person room for the two of us thinking we would then have more room space. Room def not suitable for 3 people. Very cramped. No wardrobe, only a clothes rail with 6 hangers. The rail kept falling apart. Kept most of my clothes in suitcase. Nowhere safe to put this and kept tripping over them. One mirror in room thats is so low down we had to kneel to use it. Owners please take heed and make room 2b into a double. So unfare to use as a triple room. Its just not suitable.

The whole place was worn out and had seen better days. We have no idea how the staff was, since we never saw anyone.

The location was great.

The mattress was worn out! We could feel all the springs. And the laundry soap used for the sheets was so strong it kept me awake. It smelled toxic.
