A lovely stay.

Really nice, little guesthouse in a lovely location, the center of Oban on 10 minutes walking distance. The host gave us a really warm welcome and she was very helpful and informative about the place, restaurants, booking the ferries etc. We stayed just for one night. Check-in and check-out went smooth. Nice, cozy, clean room, comfy bed also complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch. We would recommend this place and its peaceful location. It was our first visit to Oban and we would go back again in the future :)

Friendly welcoming host, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Breakfast tray and fresh juice, milk and yoghurts were a nice surprise. Very cozy, warm room.

We had to make a booking on short notice due to an amber weather warning. The owner was very welcoming and allowed us to drop off bicycles and bags in the morning. Bicycles can be stored in a garage. Despite stating that there was no breakfast being offered, we were happy to see a selection of cereal, milk and yoghurt in our rooms.

I thought the reviews on line were very encouraging and surprised when I experienced the opposite. The price probably was the best bit.

It was a little worn and wasn’t as clean as the reviews stated. The bedding was past its best and the duvet cover was not clean. The bathroom water didn’t drain very quickly from either the bath or the sink, and the shower curtain was past its best.

Quiet, clean and nice - except the steep walk to the town

Located a 15 min walk from the town centre (steep!). Parking for my motorcycle was possible on the pavement, with a car you had to park 3 min away. Room was spacious, clean and very quiet. Shared bathroom was also clean. Good!

We didn't expect breakfast, so finding cereal and proper milk, plus fruit juice, yoghurt and cereal bars was a lovely surprise. It also meant we could eat it before going for the early ferry. Location ideal for getting to the ferry easily.

Don’t miss the view from Pulpit Rock while staying at this sweet guesthouse.

I stayed in the single room and it was clean and comfy. The bathroom was right across the hall and was spotless. While it advertises as having no breakfast, there is a wonderful continental breakfast in the room, including cereal, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea, and some snacks. It was much appreciated. The view from Pulpit Rock it was amazing. It’s a short walk up the hill. I went up there for the sunset and it was gorgeous. The property is on a hill so it is about a 10 minute walk down to town but I would guess maybe a half hour walk back up. I was glad to have a car. It was very convenient to the ferry.

Host prepared a breakfast basket and some cold drink in the little fridge for us. Also, a kettle with coffee, tea, sugar etc. was available in the room.

Parking was a bit far if you have heavy luggage but the parking place was at a viewing point from where there is an incredible view over the city and port.

Breakfast was not included but cereal and a small fridge with milk and orange juice was left in the room plus tea or coffee and a kettle.

It wasn,t en suite which I had been made aware of but I had access to a toilet and shower and wash hand basin across the corridor.

Breakfast is not offered, but the hostess provide snacks. Rooms are spacious, very clean and confortable. There is not parking at the place itself but nearby it

There are two floors with rooms. We stayed in the rooms of the ground floor and we hear some noises from the people staying above us. Not because they were particularly noisy but because of the building itself. The frigde inside the room could also get a bit noisy at times.
