Great location, staff and room.

This hotel has lovely grounds, great staff, a great pool and lovely rooms. I especially loved the proper sofa style seating on the balcony. Stayed in one of the rooms that did not overlook the pool and has a view of a wall, however to the side was a view of the mountains. We didn't plan to spend much time in the rooms, and I preferred the privacy of not overlooking the pool. All in all a lovely stay

Low end 4 star hotel, disappointing end to the holiday having to pay so much for late check out.

Upper access pool room, so access to pool was good and faced South, so we had sun on our terrace all day which meant we could stay in a quiet area rather than visit the main pool which was always busy. Lunch in the pool bar was good and reasonably priced. Well kept grounds. Short walk to beach and numerous restaurants and shops.

Pool towels very thin and no mattresses on sunbeds, breakfast very disappointing - bland and limited choice, so only had breakfast on the first day. Pillows lumpy. Tired looking bathroom and bedroom furniture. Requested late check out (normal check out 12 noon) as flying at midnight and had to pay 8,000 baht for an extra 5 hours in the room (initially wanted to charge 8,600), which I felt was a complete rip off when we were just showering in the room before our journey to the airport. A free shower room was available near the pool but only one shower and no guarantee it would be free when we required it, plus no air con or plugs to dry hair.

Everything was exceptional. The staff are amazing. The room are beautiful. The setting is magnificent.

My booking was for 2 persons, however I came alone. When I checked in I mentioned that one of my grandchildren may come to stay with me as the second person. My children who were staying at The Sands came to see the hotel and where I was staying. As we started walking to the room I was called by the reception staff and told that my family were not allowed to come in with me. I was a bit upset and told her I would show them my room and they would then leave. That is very disturbing conduct for a hotel and did put a dampner on my feeling there.

Great hotel, great location and great staff

Swim up rooms are fantastic, straight out of your room into the pool, loved it. A good selection for breakfast, all the usual fare you would expect to suit all nationalities. The individual pools are great for getting lengths in and the perfect temperature.

The internet would occasionally throw you off and was slightly inconvenient trying to log back in.

Convenient hotel close to the Night Market in Khao Lak

Conveniently located hotel close to the Night Market in Khao Lak. Nice pool area. As a matter of fact our experience shows that in the town a person does not need a hotel with a direct beach access. Loss of money. If you are a beach lover go further north. Beaches in Khao Lak are not the greatest and overcrowded. Breakfast good but nothing special, just a standard with good selection. We were in a pool access room on the ground floor. A nice thing but all depends where you get it > maybe in the shade all day. Next time we will not take such a room. Loss o money.

Our room a bit worn out. Needs refurbishment. Probably the hotel needs an update. Internet wi-fi ok.

A good choice for just chilling by the pool and reading books!

The building we stayed in was newly finished and pristine which we liked a lot. It was also very spacious. We found the second floor pool access room actually nicer than the ground level. You also see a bit further and have more privacy in a way. The garden and swimming pools were to our liking. The facilities, rooms and pool areas are clean and well kept. Also the location of the resort was fine, close to the restaurants and the beach. The value for the room is a lot better than what we paid in Phuket for the same chain.

Unfortunately with such a big resort, and our room being located at the very end, it is a lot of walking you have to do to get to the lobby and entrance of the resort. You better not forget anything in the room when you're off to somewhere.. They were also building something next to our room which caused some noise during the day when you're lounging at the balcony. You're not allowed to swim after 7pm. We were also surprised by the poor level of English of the staff sometimes, it was really hard to come by in topics like gluten free breakfast. Speaking of which, the breakfast was mediocre and the bird invasion is a sort of a turn off. If you're on gluten-free diet, inform the hotel beforehand. If you don't be prepared for a slice of cake or two. Once they're aware of your diet, you need to pre-order your gluten free breakfast every day. The gluten free avocado toast was great!

Loved this place very happy with our stay

Great location, staff and facilities. The pool is lovely, and the happy hour is a great deal with delicious cocktails. The buffet breakfast is very well catered and delicious. Everything you need is within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were so kind and helpful in every way. Would stay here again for sure.

We had the bay of romance room, and the toilet door is made of see-through glass, which makes it a little uncomfortable in terms of privacy. It would be great if they could fog the glass out.

Relaxing and perfect .wish id stayed longer

The pools were awesome. particularly the ones that had pool access from the rooms. the resort was quiet without lots of rambunctious children and a short stroll to the beach, restaurants, bars , markets and massages

I thought it weird that the pool access rooms did not have an inflatable pool device eg lounge although some did. when i enquired was advised that you had to buy these yourself and hotel can inflate. Whilst they were only 300bht/ $15 to buy it was an inconvenience and you just left them after leaving . why wouldnt each room just be supplied with one in the stair well to use or not . Also some people in gym daily loudly playing exercise workouts when everyone else were using headphones was rude, intrusive and annoying. should be a sign to say use personal sound headphones so not disturb others

Great family stay in a great location

Convenient location, great value for money, friendly and helpful staff. We had a pool access room and with a 4-year-old who is learning to swim, found it was ideal and we spent way more time in the water than if we had to always go to a larger general pool.

This was a comfortable, fun place for a family of 3.

Room was spacious with plenty of storage. It was a short walk to the beach and the shops in Khao Lok.

The breakfast buffet was comprehensive, but as a vegan family we would appreciate it if they labeled the food and had a few more plant-based options. They gave us oat milk for cereal and coffee and there was plenty of fresh fruit and bread and jam. The hot dishes mostly had meat.

I booked this hotel to stay at after my first resort hotel. I chose this hotel due to the water access room and the huge main pool with swimup bar and floating net things - I wanted a bit of luxury for once in my life and paid for it as well (it was more expensive for 3 nights here than the 5* hotel I stayed in previously for 5 nights). On arrival they told me the main pool was shut due to maintenance. Had this been communicated beforehand, I would have asked for a refund and booked somewhere else. I'm actually surprised by my reaction and my disappointment that the hotel did not offer me any compensation or a refund. Massively disappointed to find this out. It's a shame because the hotel is lovely.... just not worth the money at all when the main reason for going is shut down. For me, the breakfast was also a bit underwhelming.

Great pool access room, pools not over crowded, incredible location, staff and pina coladas! the onsite restaurant for dinner was also really yummy! Great sized rooms, oversized beds, and incredible water pressure in the shower (perfect for hair washing...)

the pillows and beds were below standard for the quality of the hotel. definitely in need of some upgrades. no smart tv in the rooms
