It is not allowed to smoke on the rooms balcony, only at the smoke area, which is not close to the room

We were upgraded to a couples suite. The room was so nice. The staff were so friendly, the food was good and reasonably priced. The nice thing was you offered free tea and coffee and soft drinks with popcorn was the highlight of my grandchildrens day. The beach was amazing and accessible...we had an amazing stay.

The service was the best i have ever experienced. The facilities did not disappoint.

Travelled with family. Adults only pool was perfect and the kids areas were great. Plenty of activities offered. Transport easy with taxi always out the front in addition to a couple daily shuttles. (Taxi was cheaper for a family) food was good. Didnt have the breakfast , however family did and said it was a great spread. Separates rooms in family suite with pool access was fabulous. Staff were excellent. Could walk to other restaurants and shops.

Great location and excellent facilities. Something to suit all the family, from a choice of pools to the beach and table tennis and pool. Lots of activities for the kids to join, and they loved the water slide. Good, clean rooms with all necessary amenities and super comfy pillows!. Friendly and helpful staff

Location is great. Family of four 150baht to get into town centre ($7AUD). Close to other attractions/locations in Kao Lak. The property itself is awesome. Staff are sensational and will bend over backwards to make your stay great. WiFi works everywhere in the resort and is quite fast. Food at both restaurants fantastic. Good selection of Thai and Western dishes.

The staff, I was travelling around Thailand for 5 months in many 5 star hotels and this was by far the best the staff were so polite and welcoming

The staff were fantastic and the accommodation was also great. The breakfast was exceptional and catered for your every needs. There was enough space for adults in the adult pool but must let you know we went there in the off season so not so crowded. Loved the stay at X10.

The beach is not great and swimming is quite dangerous with lots of rocks underneath and strong currents.

This is our second time staying here and it is perfect for our family. The breakfast is good, the kids love the slide, the rooms are spacious and very clean. They deliver clean pool towels everyday got to the room in the early evening, they go above and beyond for you. We have already booked to come back next year. The location is perfect.

It was huge, so much to do and so many different places to swim. I love that it was right on the beach and that you could access the beach at anytime. There were plenty places to sit and relax. I loved that there was a spa, multiple restaurants and gym on site. The staff were so friendly and helpful! There were lots of places for the kids to play too. I loved that the resort looks just like the pictures online!

There was nothing we didn’t like

The resort was beautiful. The grounds are so well maintained. We stayed in a pool access room, beach wing which was brilliant. The room had a huge bed, decent sized fridge, with small freezer. There was a kettle, good size cups, glasses and tea bags and coffee replenished daily. Toiletries were nice and plentiful, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, shaving kit, sewing kit, toothbrush & paste. all the staff were all so lovely, including the gardeners and maintenance people. The pools were clean and plenty of room. There is plenty for children, including a water slide, play/paddle pool. There are daily activities for children and adults. Aqua fitness daily. The breakfast was amazing, something for everyone. It's cute that they even have special plates and cups for little kids. Makes them feel special. Every meal we ate at the main restaurant was nice and pretty well priced. Lots of selection too. You can have takeaway, room service, pool service and dine in one of the two restaurants. There is a kids club and a few different types of rooms. The Management were so lovely and all the staff made us feel very welcome from the get go.

There was nothing we didn't like. You have to walk about 750mtrs or get a taxi or shuttle bus to get to town. The resort charges 50 baht per person or a taxi is about 150 or 200 baht (not per individual) to get to town or back. There are 3 shuttles per day, both ways.

We had a pool access room and it was difficult for us oldies with bad knees to get into the pool but we managed.

We just returned from a 6-night stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff were incredibly friendly and truly made us feel at home throughout our stay. I loved our room- simple but comfortable and direct access to the family pool was a huge bonus. We were close to the kids club to where my children enjoyed a few activities here and there. A special mention to Gift and May at the restaurant, who remembered my children, Charlie and Archie, from day one – such a small gesture, but it meant a lot and really added to the warm, personal feel of the resort. Peary and Saw were two other staff members who went above and beyond with their service. I wish I caught the same of one of the chefs as well, he was at the egg station most mornings and was so kind. The breakfast spread was fantastic – so much variety, always fresh and constantly replenished. The pools were clean and plentiful, and the water slide was a hit with the kids. We loved the thoughtful extras like free soft drinks and popcorn for the kids between 3–5pm, and the complimentary coffee machine in the lobby was a great touch for the adults! One particularly lovely surprise came after I left a review of one of the restaurants while on site – we were treated to a beautiful fruit platter and flowers as a thank you. And to top it all off, a kind manager gifted my son a sweet elephant teddy, which he’s slept with every night since. The resort goes the extra mile in every way, and it truly shows. Our time here was unforgettable – we can’t wait to return!

If I had to mention anything for improvement, it would be the consistency of housekeeping – on a couple of occasions we didn’t receive towels, water, or toilet paper. Also, room service could be a little quicker in collecting used food trays. These were very minor inconveniences, though, and didn’t take away from what was otherwise an outstanding stay.

Swimming pools are great with a really good waterslide for resort standards. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Staff are all friendly and accommodating. Free soft drinks between 3-5 in the afternoon.

The food at the main restaurant is pretty average. This included pizzas and beef burger. Particularly the burger was tasteless. Breakfast burritos buffet was ok. Omelettes are really good but things like doughnuts, waffles and pancakes are not good. Perhaps they just do those differently in Thailand. I know, why are we eating doughnuts for breakfast? Well….when in Thailand. The resort is a bit of a walk to the main strip due to its long driveway. They really should have a shuttle to take people to the main street. I’ve stayed at similar places before and they have a golf cart to ferry people up and back. This is what’s needed.

We had a suite which meant that our children had their own bedroom with big single beds and their own bathroom. It was excellent to have 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and have a walk in shower and having a bathroom with a bath on holiday was a real treat. I had requested ground floor if possible and was lucky enough to be given a ground floor room With access to a pool and sun loungers which was really lovely. The massages were lovely and very reasonable especially given the 50% discount at the time we were there. We had massages every day.

I did not like that you were only allowed to smoke in designated ages areas of which there was few. I also did not like that you could not get a nice coffee before 11am (only the canteen coffees out of the machines which were not great) we also did not like that the bar closed at 10pm. This is very early on holiday and something that we have not experienced before. I also did not like that it wasn’t made clear that the water at the beach is unusable at the time we were there as I chose the hotel based on the fact you had access to the beach

The hotel has all the amenities and has its own beach. The breakfast is also very good .

The taxis outside hotel charging too much for short trip. The staff has to be be more helpful.

The staff didn't feel like they go out their way to help with different things. If you want to order something to the pool it takes ages to get a waiter and even longer to get the order. Location is not bad but always need transportation to go to town because it's a pretty long walk.

The property is only a year old so very new and up to date with large rooms and many facilities including a water slide and water play for the kids. The restaurant was lovely and the Beach Bar too.

It’s between 1.5 -2hrs out of Phuket so if you are looking for shows and markets it’s a bit far however we organised a driver for the day which was perfect.

Super comfy soft bed. Received an upgrade to a family room and absolutely loved the extra space and larger balcony. Large fridge too. Room had everything we needed and the balcony had sun beds and chairs and an umbrella. Staff were very accommodating. Very professional communications. Several different pools to explore. Very nice bathroom. Free coffees in the foyer 24/7. Beach access. Umbellas in the room. Beach/pool bag in the room. Good lighting & efficient a/c in the room

Pool slide was out of order during our stay. Balcony could have been cleaner - we seemed to get a lot of loose dirt stuck to our feet out there and bring it into the room. A door mat to wipe feet when entering the room from the balcony would help. It's a bit of a walk to the main strip with all the restaurants and shops (ca 10min)

Breakfast was awesome..lots to choose from and good variety. The beach was fab, so close and clean. Staff were happy and so helpful. Rooms were clean and water etc stocked up every day Liked that the pool nearest the beach was for adults only

The food at The Main Restaurant on the menu for dinner was not very good quality but the Buffet food for dinner was very good for choice and quality, just a bit expensive if you only eat a regular meal at dinner time and don't stuff yourselves. The adult pool was very shallow....0.6m to 1.2m

Lovely hotel with extra touches. Can’t fault them on cleanliness, food quality, facilities and staff enthusiasm and professionalism. The pad Thai was the best I’ve had! Loved the coffee and water station by the family suites- excellent touch.

The location is quiet, which is great. However, after 3 nights it’s nice to have more options. Perfect stay for a quieter, resort feel
