Best boutique waterfront hotel.

A beautiful, peaceful, small hotel with fantastic beachfront location. Amazing sunset view over the water, whilst enjoying the happy hour cocktails. Short walk to a range of small restaurants. Friendly staff. Lovely infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Will definitely stay here again if returning to Khao Lak.

Beautifully quiet retreat

Quiet, relaxing hotel with absolutely lovely staff. Food was very good and enjoyed happy hour. Located close to the Main Street but still quiet.

I booked 10 nights in a garden view room and when we booked in were told we had been upgraded but only for two nights! I would rather have gone straight to the room I booked but was told it wasn’t available 🤔

Good small personal resort with an uncrowded feeling.

It is a smaller boutique resort in a quiet position but well placed for local shopping and restaurants. Our Garden view Villa was well equipped with good air conditioning. Staff friendly and helpful.

Classy small hotel with fabulous staff.

Beachfront location was unbeatable. Sitting having breakfast or watching the sunset with a sundowner was breath taking. All the staff were exceptional - so friendly and helpful. The pool setting was beautiful. We loved that it was a small hotel as much of the neighbouring hotels were very large - it was definitely the right decision for us.

The exterior of the main hotel building was a bit tired. It definitely needed a lick of paint. But the rooms and bar/restaurant area were in very good condition.

A peaceful hidden gem worth discovering

Chongfah is a hidden little gem! Small resort, beautifully maintained and well run. Staff want to ensure you have a great stay.

A few guests smoking, which we dislike although not the fault of the resort. We saw a lot of smoking in Thailand in the restaurants so guess it’s a social thing.

Wonderful Stay at Chongfah Beach Resort

We had an amazing 10-day stay with a group of friends at Chongfah Beach Resort. This beautiful boutique hotel overlooks the Andaman Sea and offers a peaceful, intimate atmosphere. The infinity-edge pool is long and inviting — perfect for gazing out over the water. We stayed in a sea-view bungalow with a stunning outlook, a private patio, and wonderfully comfortable sunbeds. The room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: robes, hairdryer, coffee and tea facilities, quality toiletries, plus the bonus of an outdoor shower and spa bath. Great location on the beach and easy walking to other restaurants and the markets. But what truly made our stay special was the staff. Because the resort is small, the team quickly learns your preferences and makes you feel genuinely cared for. From reception to housekeeping to the restaurant, everyone was warm, friendly, and attentive. It was such a joy to arrive at breakfast and be greeted with smiles — and our regular coffee order already remembered!

A lovely restful stay in a beautiful and convenient setting.

we really enjoyed our few days stay here. it is close to shops and the market but far enough away to feel a bit out of the way. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and knew us by name in a short time. The resort is relatively small which was another plus. Breakfast was really good too.

It was windy while we were there so no beach for me - but that was because of the season.

Probably one of the best choice in Khao Lak

Such a charming hotel by the sea, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Small hotel, therefore very quiet and relaxing. The whole team is SO adorable, welcoming, available. Special thanks to Joy, Noey and Pea. Great food as well. We definitely recommend a stay there.

It’s a great location - right on the beach while restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The staff were all friendly and attentive to our needs.

The lighting in the room was dim. Coming in from the sunny outdoors, we would have preferred some additional lighting.

Nice hotel, lovely people, wrong declaration

Lovely, the employees are so friendly and correct. I have seen 7 other hotels in Thailand. Also so called 5-star hotels. None of them can compete with that (with one exception). Everything works perfectly, no damages. Neither inside the room, nor outside. Everything is cared very well. The breakfast was reduced because of low number of guests, but still very good. I missed nothing. Let me point out the room maids, never I had a room cleaned with this love for every detail. The bed was decorated and in the afternoon they removed that again. English speaking, and so adorable. People can make your holidays pleasant or not. Here they make your holidays nicer.

There is only one thing, a hint to the owners of the hotel. If you name your hotel "Beach Hotel" it should have a beach. If it has no beach, you should make that visible. The "beach" consists of rocks and waves spraying onto the property. I checked on several times day and night, always the same, independent of the tide. This was the main reason to leave the hotel after 2 nights, There are other reasons concerning the destination Khao Lak. The coffee is a point in all hotels, which could be improved. May 2022.

small boutique hotel with nice touches like evening turn down service, mosquito coils at night, fresh pool towels on sun beds every morning. staff were well trained on the tourist sandbox rules. delicious Thai food for breakfast. rooms were large and beautifully decorated. pool was amazing, best views in Khao Lak.

Outstanding staff in a gorgeous location with beautiful amenities

The room is really lovely - especially liked the outdoor tub and shower. Even though we only used them once (no hot water in the outdoor shower), we could open the double doors to the outside when using the inside shower. Staff were fantastic - made our 20th anniversary very special. Breakfast is plentiful and good. The local is wonderful - we slept with the doors open and listened to the sound of the waves. The pool is well-kept and has a beautiful view of the ocean.

It's always difficult to make everyone happy - singles, couples and families. This is a really minor thing, but we had a very noisy family next to us on the last night, and given how many empty rooms there were, I think they could have placed people with kids in adjoining rooms down at the end of the ocean-front bungalows.

Wonderful resort in Khao Lak

Very good service and warm hospitality from checking to checkout. I left my valuables in a small in the room safe and it was promptly shipped to my destination hotel quickly. Khun Kate was most helpful. The staff in the dining room was so friendly and efficient.

Frühstück war gut und Reichhaltig, auch mit einer sehr guten Auswahl an Speisen. Mit tollem Ausblick auf das Meer.

Wir hatten Problem mit der Klimaanlage im Zimmer die dann aber relative schnell behoben worden sind.
