Loved La Flora

It’s a lovely resort , quiet towards the back .Breakfast and the breakfast staff are excellent.

We really enjoy the quiet of the side pools, especially around buildings 6-8. The rooms are generous and the beds are very comfortable.

The front office staff was less than helpful and did not seem to appreciate repeat guests. Requests were not followed up on.

Very comfortable and relaxing.

Really stylish seafront hotel. Very conveniently positioned with direct beachfront access as well as being only 5 mins from the main hub of Khao Lak. Restaurant and bar were very good. 2 hrs happy hour each evening with mix and match buy one get one free. Can put everything on the room and settle at the end. This includes anything at La Vela.

Great facilities but staff could do with more training. This is a draw back compared to other hotels e.g. Marriot. Forgot welcome drinks. Impossible to get umbrellas. Would push past you on paths etc. They have organised trips. We wanted to go to the Similans - suggestion could leave directly from their pier but this didn’t apply in Oct. For these trips they partner with Wow Andaman. Wow offer October (wet season) discounts but this isn’t passed on by La Flora so you might want to book that separately. We were unlucky with weather- only stayed 3 nights which coincided with a freak storm. Dispite the disappointing weather there was plenty to do.

Great location but hotel itself disappointing

Location was fantastic

Reception was very average which wasn’t good start. Pool dated with many tiles missing & dirty grout. Room cleaning very average. Swim out room had shared access with room next door & outside longes drenched in rain so unable to sit outside during wet weather. Many staff seemed disinterested. Took over an hour & 3 requests to have bags collected for check out.

Nice Resort On the Beach

Our beach wing room (L3) was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. No lift in beach wing - not mentioned in room description. We spent lots of time at the casual seating area near the beach - just lovely. Enjoyed the sandwich/burger options on the menu. Evening music and Fire Show was great. Easy walk to local shops, cafes and restaurants. Very impressed to see Recycling bins and the Daily Food Wastage board. Good little Minimart with reasonable prices. Resort very suitable for families - beachfront pool was only 1.3m deep. Many thanks.

THIRD VISIT VERY DISSPPOINTING.

Being literally, on the beach is awesome. The sunsets are beautiful. The pools are lovely.

This was our third time returning to this hotel. Last year, I made a video with my family which I uploaded on my YouTube Channel because we had such an amazing time. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed this year. When I went to take pictures of the food of the Friday Evening Buffet I saw a cat walking around and many Blue Flies sitting on the food. The next morning both my husband and I were very sick. The next day we were still sick and we couldn't even go for breakfast. The afternoon I contacted the reception to ask if there was a nurse at the hotel. The lady did offer to take us to a doctor but I explained to her that was impossible because my husband and I were taking turns to run to the bathroom. Luckily, there were 2 bins in the room that we could use. What I really find very shocking is that no one bothered to phone us after that, or come to our toom to see if we were better. The next morning we still couldn't eat and we left for Phuket feeling weak and upset!

The highlight of our trip

La Flora was an oasis for us. We had come from other accommodation that lacked in so many areas... La Flora reminded us that hospitality, friendliness and great service are second nature to the right people and places. We loved happy hour and the great (but busy at times) buffet breakfast. We also went on a cycling tour through the hotel and the team were amazing.

It's a huge hotel accommodating a lot of people, so pick your times for breakfast etc because it can get busy.

Has an amazing, relaxing experience.

Loved the swim up pool to our room and location.

Our room smelled a bit damp but wasn’t an issue and we were there in green season. Kids club was very quiet with no other kids doing the activities which was a shame as my daughter would have loved to have met some new friends.

Perfect place for a relaxing break

We loved our stay at La Flora. We stayed in the Beach Wing and it was lovely looking at the pools and ocean. There were plenty of restaurants close by which were all great. The room was spacious, the staff were all friendly and helpful and the included breakfasts offered a lot of variety. We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday at La Flora.

Great resort for a family holiday

Rooms are large, clean and well appointed. Staff are friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast is exceptional. Plenty of good dining options close by. Great for a family holiday.

This is a large hotel with over 250 rooms so the main pool area and beach was very crowded. However there were other pool areas you can access that are quieter.

We still had a great holiday the resort was clean and food was good.

It was located on the beach. Breakfast was good especially having barista coffee included.

We were there for 17 days and had booked in July last year. There is an old section and a new section. We were in the old section pool access room, this was a bit run down. To get to your room you had to enter from the pool access area. Which meant you had people walking passed ,to get to there rooms. The newer rooms had access from the back so people couldn’t walk passed you while you are sitting outside your room.

Amazing time in a beautiful hotel

The hotel was really amazing. Right at the beach and shops and restaurants just a short stroll away. We had a family room which was beautiful. The hotel area was beautiful and big. Staff was very friendly.

The only thing we didn’t liked was the pool and sun bed situation. Sun beds were too close so it was quite crowded. Also people reserved already in the morning the sun beds which is quite annoying.

Fantastic, we’ll be back

The location is fantastic, easy walking to massage, restaurants and the night markets. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had! Beds were super comfy. Sister hotel next door with extra pools, inflatable for the kids and a great beach club.

The resort is long so some rooms are a distance from the beach, but nearer the shops! Just not so easy to pop back to your room.

Lovely resort that provides comfort of home

Loved this resort. Offered various pools, so you never felt crowded. Breakfast was amazing, so much on offer. The facilities were clean and staff always smiling and helpful, our room was huge and cleaned daily. Within walking distance to eateries and market. I loved that they provided big bottles of shampoo/conditioner and body wash and handwash, instead of those tiny use once bottles other hotels provide.

I would have liked more English channel options on the TV, there was only 1 movie channel when it worked. The kid's club room was quite small and catered to very young children only. Because the resort is so large, it was quite a distance to walk from our room to the main area and back during the course of the day. Whilst it says beachfront, it's not exactly a swimming beach, more a surf beach, very rough waves, I wouldn't recommend for a family, my kids didn't get to use the beach at all.

I went to meet my sister who had booked at this hotel. From start to finish a great experience. Great engllish from all staff. The whole complex was spotless. My room waa above reception and I never heard any noise.
