Feeling home in Paris

Very cosy hôtel situated in a lovely area of 16th Arr. Spacious and very quiet room, nicely decorated with taste, with large bathroom and equipped with amenities, kettle, coffee machine and safe. Very comfortable mattress and pillows.

The hotel was lovely and staff all polite and helpful. It is very well positioned for Metro.

There was a good selection at breakfast. A nice touch would have been warming the pastries.

My daughter paid a deposit of 100 Euros and we didn't get it back. We should have asked for it, but, also we should have been reminded of it. My daughter will contact you soon.

Very stylish and clean but simple things could be better

Breakfast was of high quality but little choice. No yoghurt on Tuesday morning

Storage area in room was very poor. We had to leave clothes in cases for 3 days

It was a descent room but lacking cabinets and closets. The personal was nice and friendly.

The king bed was great and comfortable, The air conditioning was working well The breakfast was OK. The personal was nice and great and during the last day when we were checking out and the elevator was broken, A nice person called Mohammed helped us to bring he luggage from the 3rd floor to the lobby without even us asking him. he was great and deserves our appreciation.

Lack of cabinets and drawers in the room and bathroom to hang clothes and put our items. The elevator was broken for 2 days and when we checked out, we were lucky Mohammed asked to help us. The room main door doesn't close automatically, and you have to use your key to close it firmly.

Great hotel for lovely Paris experience.

It’s a true gem! We stayed in connected rooms with a large terrace. The rooms are newly renovated, and the neighborhood is very quiet—you wouldn’t even guess you’re in Paris. The metro stations are very close, which makes getting around super convenient. I would love to come back!

We came in August, pay attention that due to holidays a lot of bakeries and bistros are closed.

Fabulous location and comfortable furnishings

The room was comfortable, loved the garden, breakfast and the service. The night we arrived during a flash flood our room was inaccessible, but the hotel provided great hospitality with complimentary food and drinks. It was much appreciated.

We were in the end apartment of the annexe (101). It’s next to the big metal gate and it banged frequently. A softener/padding should be added or a different access system as not fair on guests in this room. In addition the room smelt a bit damp although it might have been due to a flash flood on arrival.

Overall, loved staying at Botaniste. Staff were great, area fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast ingredients were very fresh and tasty . Lovely jams and croissants. Background music was lovely. Staff very pleasant. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and well stocked. Beds very comfortable, pillows excellent. The area exceeded expectations, it was beautiful.

The bedroom was smaller than photos appear, we didn't realise two single beds would be attached to each other instead of being separate. The sound insulation was poor, if people were chatting outside, it sounded like they were inside our room and you can hear other people's toilets flushing. It was not expected to have to walk around the corner to a different building for breakfast, that was a little strange. I would have liked hot chocolate as a drink option and some fruit salad. One day the cows milk and oat milk were in the wrong places with their labels, which could be dangerous for an allergy sufferer. They need to be placed separately.

We didn’t like having breakfast within the foyer and breakfast was poor. The foyer/reception was also the bar - there was no bar and therefore we had to travel out on an evening for a drink.

Gorgeous property in a peaceful neighbourhood

The property is set in a quiet street in the 16e with a private garden , gorgeous garden furniture and tall beautiful trees behind the garden. The hotel building itself is new and modern with a much needed air condition. There are only 4-5 rooms on each floor. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay , this is the hotel.

Nothing really. Love it. Although if this is your first trip to Paris and you want a more Parisian vibe, then maybe you want to choose a hotel closer to the centre.

Disappointing

The location was superb. The garden to sit outside is a very strong point for the hotel.

The water bottle in the room was not filled. The shower was in the bath tub, but no possibility to fix the shower head to the wall. Not enough staff to clean the breakfast room.

Peaceful and comfortable stay in Paris

We booked this hotel after a bad experience in another one in the city. We found this beautiful, modern hotel and it changed our last days for the better. The staff is very kind , and they speak English which is amazing in Paris. The hotel is located in a residential area, very calm and peaceful but nicely connected thanks to the close metro station. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. We are happy that we found this nice hotel and surely will be back on our next trip to Paris.

Unprofessional staff

The hotel staff need essential training on dealing with the payment system and clients. First: The hotel was trying to charge me twice the deposit. They charged me a deposit once and in 2 days tried again ( it was not enough money on that card, so they could not); when I called and asked what happened, they told me it was a mistake from the staff. Second: One day after the checkout and me paying the bill and drinks, the receptionist confirmed that all was paid and gave me a receipt, the hotel charged me again. When I texted them and asked why if they double-checked and confirmed that I paid for all drinks and food consumed, they charged me again, they could not find the explanation and asked me to call the next week to the manager so that he could explain. Total lack of professionalism and ignorance; instead of texting me on booking and explaining how it happened, I needed to call the next week to hotel waste my time and money to know why they charged my card again. Now I don't feel safe that these people from staff have my card details.
