Gleann Loic Farmhouse

The property was gorgeous, the owners were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was nice and shower and bathroom were seperate so no need to worry about waiting in line. The kitchen downstairs was great to use and the sitting area. There was also a washing machine downstairs which is super handy if you need one! Along the drive way there are beautiful fruit trees and fields of sheep. Was such a lovely Irish Cottage experience. Also freshly made scones in the morning!! It was a shame we were in a rush to leave.

Padraig made us feel very welcome from the moment he opened the door. . He was very friendly and chatty and shown us around the kitchen and sitting area and then to our rooms. The rooms were very clean and comfortable which is what we needed after a day of walking The bathroom and shower were shared but that wasn't a problem with us There was no cooked breakfast but there was plenty of choice so a cooked breakfast wasn't missed. There was also plenty of fresh fruit. Just as we'd nearly finished, Brian walked in with some delicious scones straight out of the oven and even though we'd already ate, we managed to eat one and take one with us on our travels that day All in all a very nice stay and would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here

A charming old farmhouse with a great view, with animals (chickens, Ducks, sheep, and 2 dogs), nicely renovated house, great self-service breakfast with everything you desire (fresh eggs, smoked salmon, home-made scones), and a very friendly and original host who helped us to find the most important sights and restaurants. He speaks excellent English and German!

The facilities contained all the essentials, but only the minimum. The rooms were rather small, although the shared shower was excellent and warm, the separate shared bathroom was uncomfortable.

The farmhouse was in a charming setting with a few sheep and chickens.
