Met by Paudi who had a lovely fire on to greet us. No Wifi which we knew about but still had good tv coverage if needed.The road the house is on is basically a cul de sac so not any real traffic other than locals. Beach and harbour within walking/cycling distance on quiet roads. Nice outside area but the weather limited the use of that

As a family we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cuascrome House. Anne and Paudie welcomed us warmly and provided lots of local advice and details including checking which restaurants and sights were reopening the week of our visit, the first week post Covid restrictions on restaurants and accommodation. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Each room has a sea view and the view across the headland and the sea to Dingle and the Blasket Islands is wonderful. There are lots of chairs and couches to sit and relax and a wonderful stove for chillier evenings. A large round family dining table added to our stay and a nice table and chairs outside for a glass of wine looking at the sunset was appreciated. The location is quiet and safe. Each morning we walked down to the little harbour or up the headland before setting off on day trips to the Skelligs, Kerry cliffs, Kells Bay gardens, Killarney and the numerous beaches including the lovely White Strand 2km away. Caherciveen and the area has loads to offer and we enjoyed exploring it. We couldn't find fault with anything. Even on the few drizzly days we welcomed coming back to hot showers and the comfort of the house. We have rented many times in Ireland and abroad and felt we had found a gem in Cuascrome House. We will be back.

Cuascrome was a fantastic venue for our staycation. The house is very comfortable, with facilities of a very high standard and has everything you could possibly need. Walking distance to a small beach and harbour. Stunning sea views from the garden and living room. The hosts, Anne & Peader were very helpful during our stay and we would definitely return again.

Because of the unique location there is no internet access however for us, this was an added bonus as we were delighted to put our phones away. I would definitely recommend staying in Cuascrome.
