The Accommodations Made Our Trip More Enjoyable

Very spacious and clean accommodation. Host was on site if we needed anything but we still had privacy since the property is big. It was centrally located and we loved the decor. I would highly recommend this place as opposed to a hotel setting. We didn't use the kitchen, living room or wood burning stove but they were there if we wanted to use them.

We could have stayed longer so we could have taken advantage of the extra amenities. For the most part, we just slept there and toured different parts of Kerry.

We enjoyed our stay just a bit disappointed with the things that did not work or were broken.

Welcoming and nicely furnished. Comfortable for two people.

It was in need of a little tlc. The plug in the bath was broken, the tv controls did not work well, the front door could not be locked from the outside, there was no tin opener and the fridge had no door shelves or containers in the bottom.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and spacious. Very cozy with a lovely welcome basket on arrival - delicious bread!. Very accommodating and great communication with the host. Will be returning for a nice break away in the future to do some more exploring nearby.

Perfect venue for exploring the Dingle peninsula.

Everything about this property was excellent. Peaceful location and home from home facilities including the log burner which we we glad to light a couple of times.Myra and Derry were friendly and helpful.

Only one thing. As an older couple it would have been good to have a bathroom facility on the same level as the bedroom. We coped fine but if we had had mobility issues then this would have been difficult.

A beautiful, comfortable cottage in stunning, idyllic surroundings.

Our cottage was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The host was very friendly and helpful. The cottage felt like a home - nice, spacious, and very comfortable. We also cooked both nights and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The grounds were absolutely stunning and idyllic. I would 100% recommend booking here if you want to experience Kerry, with close proximity to the Dingle Peninsula.

Like a fairytale

It was a magical experience. Very neat and tidy, beautiful views and the overall ambience of the cottages and surrounding areas was like a fairy tale. Myra, the host, was warm welcoming and gave us so many helpful tips on areas to visit and the best routes to take. We were also welcomed with tasty scones and a few other treats. The fireplace was so cosy and the bed was comfortable. There are also laundry facilities on site. Overall one of the best booking.com experiences I’ve ever had

A little bit of Provence in West Kerry, a real hidden gem. Just beautiful!

Exceptionally comfortable and tastefully decorated, host really welcoming and goes above and beyond to make stay enjoyable. Attention to detail amazing, fresh flowers. bread, eggs, milk and toiletries a lovely touch. A real home away from home.

Your home away from home, but better!

The setting is just beautiful and so well established. The inside is like a home away from home and when we arrived the owner had left homemade bread, fresh eggs, ground coffee, milk and juice in the fridge for us. It was such a thoughtful and much appreciated touch considering we arrived so late on the first night. Beds are super comfortable and the whole place has everything you could need.

Myra was a wonderful host - she was really helpful - even offered to help us book the accommodation for our subsequent nights. She was ever so responsive. Her level of service was beyond our expectations

Great week at Ivy Cottage. Lovely cosy house with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well stocked kitchen and a cosy living room with fireplace. Our host Myra couldn't have been nicer, she left us eggs, juice, yoghurts, honey, milk, scones, fruit, and loads of firewood.

Gorgeous cottage with beautiful countryside surrounding it. Very warm welcome from super helpful host. Beds in the room were very comfortable and chocolate and wine welcome pack was most appreciated after a long drive! Would absolutely recommend!

The bathrooms were tiny and there is nowhere to put bathroom bag. The shower ran out of hot water after one short shower, and the rest of us had tepid or cold showers.

Probably the best place we have stayed in. We went away for a girls weekend and it was perfect. On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Myra who showed us to our cottage. Myra gave us loads of recommendations of places to eat and also gave us a lovely gift of Scones, Eggs and a bottle of Red Wine. How nice is that? The cottage was Pristinely clean, warm and very well equipped, Everything you need is in the kitchen. The living room had a lovely open fire and a bag of logs for our use, Comfy couches and TV. Beds were very comfy with duck filled quilts and pillows, crisp cotton covers and sheets and bath towels were soft and fluffy, all of very good quality. Courtyard Cottages are a hidden gem and we will definitely be back. There was absolutely nothing we could fault. If your looking at this property for a place to stay which is only a 5 min drive from Tralee, book it you will not be disappointed...infact we didn't want to leave.

Wonderful relaxing stay in a beautiful cottage

We liked everything from the warm greeting by our host to the excellent standard of the cottage and facilities. We had selected to stay but were unsure of which cottage/apartment we would get and were very pleasantly surprised when we got the one we would have most liked to have from the photos in the gallery.
