Absolutely wonderful! Marcella was incredibly responsive and so kind to us. Beds were comfy, the place is very spacious and set in a rural area. Glenbeigh and Killorglin are close by for groceries (Aldo’s and SuperValu). Emilie’s in Glenbeigh has marvelous sourdough pizza plus a variety of breads such as Guinness brown butter bread (divine)! We did a bunch of day trips all over Kerry, Dingle, Killarney, etc. It was so nice to retreat to this very quiet and comfortable home at the end of each day. Marcella made check out a breeze which was greatly appreciated given a very early departure. I would highly recommend!

Marcella’s house has truly become a second home for us, and we are always delighted to return with great joy.The house itself leaves nothing to be desired: very spacious, with plenty of room to retreat should the weather not cooperate. It is extremely well equipped (with more than enough dishes, cutlery, glasses, and so on) and spotlessly clean. From our perspective, it enjoys an almost perfect location—right on the Ring of Kerry, yet wonderfully peaceful.The surrounding area is simply breathtaking, with the very best of Ireland right at your doorstep. Whether it’s some of the most beautiful beaches (Rossbeigh, Derrynane, Banna, Inch…), the highest mountains, stunning hiking trails, enchanting manor houses (Muckross, Bantry, Derrynane…), or just the charming towns and villages (Dingle, Killarney, Cobh, Cork…), everything is within easy reach.And a final word about the hostess:Marcella is truly a wonderful host—always ready to help whenever needed, yet never in the least intrusive. She is a delightful and witty conversationalist who takes time for her guests, while at the same time giving one the warm and reassuring feeling that, for the moment, the house is entirely one’s own.

Marcella, was great to work with! Very good at communicating and responding to messages. She worked with on our late arrival. The four bedrooms and three baths was perfect for our family. Lovely and we'll fix kitchen, dining room, snug with a fire stove we used several nights. Great fenced yard for kids to run and play in.The location was good for us. 10-15 walk to the Red Fox pub. In farm country, quite, and beautiful views.Not far from the beach the Killarney National Park, and several other attractions. I would highly recommended the house and location if you want a restful holiday!

Beautiful home, set in a peaceful and scenic location. About 8km from a town with good grocery and food stores. The house is set in a large garden on a quiet country road and has all of the facilities that most families would require. Would definitely recommend it as a good family home to holiday from. Marcella was extremely helpful in getting us additional cots etc to cope with 2 babies.Beautiful small village, forest and sea walks near by (5km), and don't forget to visit the Fairy Village :-)

Marcella is a Fabulous host and obviously very experienced in attending to guest needs and being their wide ranging expectations. The house is very well equipped with all the amenities you may need. There is storage storage in a large metal shed to the rear which we made good use of. Glenbeigh is a sleepy little town but very pretty and has everything you need to either start (coffee shops) or finish (bars) your day! Geographically well positioned for both the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsula. I can see why there are so many repeat guests! Hope to be one of those some day!

This home was so nice and clean. It was the perfect place for a group to enjoy County Kerry. Lots of room with a great kitchen to prepare food if you wanted to stay in. The very modern and well-equipped cottage is located just a little way off the Ring of Kerry main road. Therefore it is very quiet all day. We felt very comfortable right from the start, as the contact was very nice and our time was taken into consideration. For a family with 2 teenagers, the cottage offers enough space to retreat. From here the entire Ring of Kerry can be easily reached and the remote parts of the region are also absolutely worth a visit. Time to rest or go hiking. You can find everything here. Spent a beautiful relaxing week in this FANTASTIC!! cottage in June 2015. The photographs and description do not do it justice. We regularly stay in cottages around Ireland and this property is by far the best yet! It is in a slightly elevated plot in South West Kerry only two miles from Glenbeigh village, giving wonderful sea views from the front windows and views of both the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsula mountains. From the main bedroom you can lie in bed and watch the lovely sunset over the Atlantic Ocean if you wish. Ideal for families, couples, romantic breaks for people of all ages. The 0.75 acre garden is completely safe for children and pets, with electric gates allowing access/egress. Tarmac driveway and parking for at least 10 cars. Outside lights and lanterns.The quality of the fittings and furnishings are excellent and way beyond normal holiday cottage fitments. The mattresses are excellent and you will not wake up in the morning. With three televisions (all modern flat screens and 50" in the lounge) a sky box and unlimited internet access of a really good speed, you are unlikely to be stuck for relaxing on a very wet day, if you decide to stay in. The attention to detail such as shampoos and shower gels in every en suite and bathroom, toilet rolls and hand soaps all provided, give that little extra touch that most other cottages do not. The garden is immaculate, not only does Declan cut the grass with his ride on mower, but he tends the verges and around the plants as well. Lovely lawns to have picnics on! If you compare the pricing of this cottage to many others, you will see that this cottage represents excellent value for money. You will not be disappointed at all when you stay here. The lovely Marcel is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble for her. She is extremely helpful in every way and the cottage was immaculate on our arrival. She is on hand by either telephone or email during your stay if you require any assistance or information at all. Our sincere thanks to both Marcel and Declan for allowing us to stay in your beautiful, fantastic cottage and we will return again. Love and best wishes to both. We spent a delightful week at this lovely home on a private lane just minutes from the N70. This is a spacious and beautifully appointed home with a kitchen to die for. In addition to the large eat-in kitchen, there is a beautiful solarium where we enjoyed breakfast. In the evenings we relaxed in front of a 42" TV in the living room. The house is absolutely immaculate and Marcella and her husband could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The appliances were state-of-the-art, and the showers provided scalding hot water and plenty of pressure. While we didn't have small children, the completely fenced in, well-tended yard would a boon to parents: you could turn your little ones loose and know that they would be safe. The three flat-screened TV's and the Wifi are deal clinchers! We would return here in a heart-beat. Thank you, Marcella & Declan!
