Such a lovely place near Kerry Cliffs!

Christmas stay.

I loved absolutely everything. The place was spotlessly clean. Marie went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful stay. I will definitely be back again.

Great place to stay

The apartment in the attic was spacious and clean. It was well equipped with a microwave, electric kettle, a fridge, a toaster, a TV, and even a dishwasher. The very friendly and gracious host, Marie, even stocked the fridge with milk, cheese, butter and jam, apart from coffee, tea and some bread. The bathroom was very clean and there was good hot water supply. The view from the apartment was of the paddocks on the cliff. Wifi was great. You also get a free ticket to visit the spectacular Skellig cliffs which was just a short walk away. I highly recommend this lodging.

Warm and welcoming, right across from the cliffs!

This ensuited loft apartment was spacious, modern and clean. The location is in farmland right across from the Kerry Cliffs. Great views across to the cliffs. The host, Marie, was welcoming and super helpful. Her advice on what to do was spot on. A complimentary pass to the the Kerry Cliffs was a thoughtful bonus. Parking is great. I was aware on booking that I would need to drive to any facilities and had come prepared. Continental breakfast and snacks were provided as a nice touch. I highly recommend and would stay here again.

Comfortable stop on the Ring of Kerry

We stayed in Portmagee at the halfway mark of our tour of the Ring of Kerry. We found everything that we needed at Skellig View for a comfortable rest after a day of driving and sightseeing. We were treated to a complimentary ticket to access the Kerry Cliffs, but unfortunately the mist was too thick to see anything on our morning visit after spending the night. Can't be helped!

We had a lovely time at the Skellig View Balcony room, even though the ceilings are a bit too low for comfort.

The property is super cute and very conveniently located close to the Kerry Cliffs.

The ceiling is very low at places and my partner is quite tall so we were a little cramped. Additionally we did not have enough hot water for my partner and I to each shower.

Recommended place and great location

I definitely recommend this place. It was clean, a beautiful view, and the free pass for the Kerry cliffs was a great plus. I could walk and feel peace. The host Marie was kind and lovely. Only 4 minutes for the villages. Thanks!!

Great location! Lovely host! Would definitely stay again but just request a different room next time

I loved the location and the cleanliness of the room. The host was lovely and available for helpful text messages. Dog friendly with no extra charges which was amazing. Light breakfast was included thank you! Plenty of parking.

Unfortunately the bathroom is only semi private so if either of us needed to go to the toilet the other person had to leave the room. Unfortunately the ceilings were very low unless standing directly in the centre of the room so we both banged our heads several times.

Great place to stay for Portmagee/ Skelligs and Kerry Cliffs!

The place is at a dream location- just a 5 minute walk from the Kerry Cliffs. And 5 min drive to Portmagee- not too much for a walk even. The owner is kind and met us as we arrived. The room is cozy, if somewhat low (under the roof)- so if you are very tall, watch your head. (or take another room at the same location!)

This is really a minimal comment: I know many guests probably prefer the skim milk nowadays.. But we missed the taste, Ireland has super milk and butter..

Balcony isn't for sitting on and looking out but you are situated short waking distance from the wonderful views of the skelligs from the cliffs.

Perfect short stay

Perfect location. The room was very clean with thoughtful additions such as some bread/butter/jam/fruit for breakfast. The pass to the Kerry cliffs was a lovely touch that we really enjoyed - and within walking distance of the property. The host was great to communicate with and everything ran very smoothly.

Beautiful spot to stay in Portmagee, would highly recommend.

Lovely compact space, newly renovated with everything you need for a short stay. Marie was very helpful. There were lots of little extras including light breakfast and it had the softest towels ❤️

Great little room next to spectacular cliffs

Marie was friendly and so helpful. She’s a great host. The room is almost brand new and is very cosy. The best thing is the amazing Cliffs of Kerry just walking distance away. Not to be missed and Marie gave us two tickets for free admission.

la ubicación es espectacular, justo en frente de los Cliffs de Kerry. La señora que alquila la casa es magnifica y muy agradable, ha hecho nuestra estancia muy cómoda. Nos dio dos pases para los Cliffs gratis y desayuno que no sabíamos que entraba, muchas gracias por todo.

Buen apartamento para el anillo de Kerry

La atención y el aparataje de cocina que tiene. Te permite desayunar y te deja comida para ello.

La calefacción de gas no la podías poner tú. Dejaba un calefactor para calentar las estancias. Recomendaría poner ambientadores en las habitaciones.

Ein wunderbar gemütliches Bett, ein nettes Frühstücksangebot im Zimmer, eine super nette Vermieterin mit einer sehr guten Dinner Empfehlung in Portmagee, sehr ruhig direkt gegenüber den Kerry Cliffs ( die leider wg. Wind geschlossen waren) Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!

Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist vielleicht das eigentlich nicht abgeschlossene Bad, das war eine Türe hat, die aber oben nicht zu ist..

La habitación era cómoda y moderna a la vez que funcional. Marie un encanto, y muy amable. Una limpieza impecable Nos dió pases para los Kerry Cliffts (sin duda lo mejor del viaje) y nos dejó cosas para el desayuno (pan, leche, galletas, fruta, mantequilla, mermelada...)

L'a chambre est très belle car tout est neuf et doté d'un confort optimal.

Mary est un hôte exceptionnel. Très réactive et d'une générosité peu commune. Elle a su se mettre en 4 pour nous rendre le séjour des plus agréables.

L'étroitesse du lieu, un plafond un peu bas, compensé par une très belle salle de bain

Au bord de l'ocean

J ai beaucoup aimé cette chambre en hauteur, comme une sorte de cabane d enfant revisitée en mode tres confortable. L'emplacement est exceptionnel, a deux pas des impressionnantes falaises de Saint Finan's bay, avec vue sur Skellig Michael. L'hotesse charmante fait tout pour qu'on se sente à l'aise. Un seul regret : ne pas avoir pu rester 2 ou 3 jours, ça en valait la peine
