We had a very enjoyable experience!

The location was brilliant. The beds were very comfy. There was lots of room for a group of 8. The house has lots of character!

Pleasant

Perfect location to Knightstown, few mins walk down the road. Also a short walk to playground. Bedrooms were very comfortable and bathrooms clean. Host was friendly and accommodating when I rang her for directions to house.

Parts of the kitchen could have been cleaner; the fridge wasn't very clean and some of the cutlery and plates in cupboards and drawer were dirty. Dishwasher was broken but not a big deal for us. Also wasn't keen on the plastic tablecloth on the dining table; it was hard to properly clean, but I imagine it's there to protect the beautiful wooden table.

it was freezing. 2 of the 4 bedrooms were pad locked and if the heating was on for more that 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening. there was an extra charge of €3 per hour. we ended up booking another place for the last 2 nights.

Disappointing

The proximity to Knights Town.

The booking did not specify that you weren't booking the entire house. I was contacted by the host about an additional charge for the use of 2 additional room after the the fee had been deducted from my card after the cancellation date had pasted, and on arrival found the the remaining room was padlocked. What I found even more unusual was is being charged for the amount of electricity that was used ,and having to send a photo of the meter on arrival and departure for proof of use, as this would be part of the booking. The WiFi was sketchy at the best of times.

A lovely stressfree stay

The house was very spacious. We were two families and had loads of room for us all to relax. Very safe location. Straight across the road from kids park and tennis court and walking distance from the town. The house had very good cooking facilities. Would definitely recommend

The TV was hit n miss. A few of our men were not happy when it kept freezing during the Euros! The garden furniture was a little beyond its lifespan

Spacious house with everything needed for a great staycation

The check in process was simple as there was a lockbox available. The cleaner for the property called by to check that we were happy with everything, which we were. We were amazed by how spacious the house was, and it was clean and homely on arrival. The owner left house rules and travel tips which were really helpful for planning activities. Valentia is absolutely stunning, and this house was a great spot to come home to in the evening. The kitchen was very well equipped, so perfect for self-catering, and there was a lovely patio outside for dining, as well as a barbeque.

The en-suite bathroom downstairs had some plumbing issues so we couldn't use it. Apart from that everything was great.
