It was very well stocked with everything we could need, and very clean too! We loved the location, it was so nice sitting in the kitchen and looking out the window at the lovely view. The beds were comfortable and the kids especially enjoyed the smart TV. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return sometime!

Pro and Con of this place is the location. Magical place to unwind and reset in a peaceful setting. It is very car dependent. While it was great to get away from the bustling cities of Dublin and Cork, it does make you plan how you want to handle your meals. We opted to hit the supervalu and cook our breakfasts so we could have a slow, leisure morning. Then grab dinner in town on the way back to the cottage.
One of the coolest things about this place was the cattle drive on the street in the evening and morning, the farmer from down the street was super friendly and educational. Turns out cows do not like strangers so best to give a wide birth in one of the pullouts if on foot.
This place is not far from Slea Head Drive and even just up the road from Gallarus Castle and Oratory.
As mentioned, to some the location can be a turn off since it is car dependent, on small, tight country roads. Personally I enjoyed that.
