Good host, good overall (cleanliness and comfort) only issue was the Wifi social media.

It appeared all social media (including Google Chat that is used for work) with the exception of WhatApp is blocked at the location's Wifi. When using mobile, it was fine.

overall we were very happy. it was enjoyable and comfortable. would definitely book again

lots of room and nice to have your own private accomodation and allocated parking space. comfy beds and had almost everything you needed there including fans and towels

no freezer, or we just couldnt work out how to turn it on, and some of the kitchen utensils were dirty. the bin for glass and mixed recycling and plastic in the garden was full to the brim so we had to take our rubbish

Good short break in Manchester

The house is in good condition and the bedrooms were all a decent size. Seems like it has been refurbished recently to a good standard. It was a little chilly on arrival but it warmed up quickly with the heating on. Whilst the area is a bit mixed, it's a few minutes walk to a supermarket which was helpful. And for us it was easy getting into Manchester itself.

The kitchen could do with a few extra utensils (e.g. chopping board, scissors). It's a minor point but the lighting downstairs is all the "cold" LED lighting which is pretty harsh on the eyes especially in the living room in the evening. It would be nice to have a couple of uplighters with warmer lighting.

Perfect for family's. First time, the children came along to manchester with us and trying to find somewhere suitable for all is hard. But this was perfect for us all. Very clean. Very comfortable. We had a great weekend and where we stayed definitely made it even better. Thank you Rich & Florence!

Buena casa pero atención a la fianza

Los dueños nos dejaron la calefacción encendida. En la casa hace muy buena temperatura, no pasas nada de frío. Casa espaciosa. Buena localización, no estás en el centro pero tienes una parada de autobús y de tren al lado. Hay supermercados cerca. Tiene check in las 24h.

Las almohadas eran malísimas. Las sábanas de mi cama no se cuántos años tendrán pero estaban llenas de bolitas. No tienen ninguna adaptador para enchufes europeos, por lo que si vienes de fuera es importante llevarlo. Sí que hay un regleta en la habitación grande con usb para cargar si tienes una emergencia. No me gusta nada que haya fianza y que su devolución esté sujeta a: dejar la casa totalmente limpia, cocina limpia, cubo de la basura vacío, no molestar a los vecinos… Al final ellos son los que alquilan la casa, limpiarla es su trabajo no el nuestro. Además tienes que pagar la fianza por transferencia o PayPal, cosa que no me parece muy segura, no tienes forma de reclamar si deciden no devolvértela. En nuestro caso tuvimos mucho cuidado de dejarlo todo perfecto para que nos la devolvieran.

No repetiría

La calefacción de la casa era buena, y a pesar del frío en la calle, dentro se estaba muy bien

El anfitrión nos pidió una fianza de 100 libras, pero no era por si rompías algo, como es lógico. Era para que limpiaras, sacaras toda la basura y dejaras todo más limpio de como te lo habías encontrado, lo que repetía en sus mail con bastante insistencia. Además, la limpieza de la casa cuando llegamos dejaba un poco que desear. Una semana después de haber dejado el alojamiento, aún no me había devuelto la fianza. Según él anfitrión, le tenía que volver a mandar mis datos bancarios. Pero si no contacto yo con él, no sé si me lo hubiera devuelto. Sí vuelvo a Manchester, no repetiría en este alojamiento.
