The curtains were broken, the front door was Never locked so didn’t feel very safe.

OK for 1 night.

It was for 1 night so didn't mind. Comfy bed fresh towels

The location said parking , we had 1 tiny space and we ended up getting our car scraped. No TV no tea making facilities in room had to use kitchen. No toilet paper.

Perfectly cheap, clean place to lay your head if you are in Manchester overnight... But noisy

The guy who owns/runs the place was very friendly and helpful, the place was very clean and warm. Very cheap and close enough to the city centre. Plenty of fast food joints around the corner if you need some chicken or kebab late at night

It's basically a house conversion, so 6 rooms in a house a little bigger than a typical terrace house. So the walls were very thin and you could hear all the other people in the place were up too. On top of that.. the people staying at this place were noisy and not considerate of others

Absolutely terrible

The bedroom was clean.

Had a horrible stench throughout the house. Fridge was full or random rubbish loose. Kitchen and living room Which was “shared” was inaccessible as the supposed other people who booked looked like they lived there permanently. We had to change hotel within 2 hours of being there costing us a further £250 unexpectedly. Upon leaving we were confronted on why and if there was any issues. As being questioned we were being stared at by 5 people the other people who “booked” also questioning why we were leaving. They looked a tad too comfortable to be just renting or booking for a few days. Almost like family.

Clean accomodation for great value.

Host was very accomodating and even allowed us very early check in! The room was clean, had towels prepared and a cupboard for storage.

The area itself may not be suitable for young or solo travellers, however close to bus stops and train station.

Lovely new place to stay, a few adjustments would make it even better

It is a nice new-build property, my bedroom was very comfortable and had plenty of storage. It was cold outside but very warm in the room. My bathroom was nearby down the hall and was small but clean and decent (but see below re the shower). There was a kitchen downstairs open to guests, and also a sitting-room. I didn't use the sitting-room at all, and the kitchen only minimally, but it was good to have them at my disposal. The location was great, right in the heart of Longsight, near the market, and it was very easy to get back from the Northern Quarter by night-bus in the early hours after a gig. Abbas, who let me in and showed me my room, was very pleasant and professional.

Although I am writing a lot of things in this bit, it is only because it is a new place and these are all things which can easily be dealt with. Only the shower suggestion would cost significant money and time. It is a very nice place to stay and I would go there again. The bathroom was pleasant and clean (see above) but the shower cubicle is too small. The shower itself was excellent, good pressure, nice and warm, but I couldn't move much in there. And I am only 5'10, so I really feel for anyone taller than me with longer limbs trying to use it! It is a very small bathroom, but there is just about room in there to build a slightly bigger cubicle around that shower. The room was very pleasant (as above) and although not huge, it is big enough to use the space by the window to put a small desk and chair in there, and I think that would turn it from a good room into an excellent one. I forgot to ask Abbas about the wi-fi, and in the end I didn't need it, but I think it would have helped to have a small notice on the back of the door with that and other basic info on it. It actually was on their instructions to me about the check-in, but I still think something on the back of the door would have really helped. I opened the lockbox on arrival as per their instructions, and there was no key. I had arrived a little before check-in time so I presumed that was why. Then a man saw me on the street corner and asked if I was staying there, and I said yes - it was Abbas, who kindly let me into the property (the door had been open) and he was surprised to find no key there either. So, it was easy, but only because I ran into Abbas. I think what had happened is that another person had taken the key and forgot to put it in the box, which obviously isn't the property's fault if so, but I think they might want to make it more difficult for someone to accidentally take the key away.

No tv in room - wasn’t aware other people would be in the home, workmen were at the property it was loud and felt a little uncomfortable I left 2 hours after I arrived

Thank god we did not stay!

What did i not like is the question.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. The hotel double-booked our room and completely ignored our phone calls when we tried to reach them. When we finally managed to get into the room, there was already a woman inside wearing a bathrobe, both of us got an awful fright. It was shocking, embarrassing, and completely unprofessional. There was no apology or proper explanation from the staff afterward. I would never recommend this place to anyone after such a stressful and unsafe experience.

Quite weird

First of all the apartment is absolutely beautiful decorated to a very high standard but there was things that I found difficult due to it being a new business , so firstly no mirror in the bedroom, for a woman that’s massive only mirror I had was in the bathroom down the hall which wasn’t far but the bathroom is tiny and I couldn’t do my make up in their etc and no where to do my hair, I found this a very big issue.. also no tv in the room or radio, no table but the owner did say he was going to get all that but I just don’t think you should have people paying to stay if it’s not finished .. secondly the privacy there not one bit of privacy you can hear all the other guest at the side of you above you underneath you you can hear the full conversations and people getting ready to go out drinking you can imagine how loud they are but you can hear a normal volume conversation you can hear people arguing with the partners the rooms are very close together .. something needs to be done about that issue as it is very off putting I wouldn’t feel comfortably having a night away with my partner there at all.. I don’t know what could be done about this issue maybe do some kind of sound proof and put tvs in rooms .. also my bathroom was down the hall it wasn’t far but as it is so small there’s no space to get dressed after a shower so walking back to my room in a towel while other guest are walking past it’s just not ideal at all I felt very uncomfortable!! I must say the owner is lovely smiley very approachable he’s there at the drop of the hat to sort any issues out I’m just glad there was no babies or kids in the proper to would have left due to the outside noise .. it is a shame because you can see how much work the owner has but into the property but I feel like for the reasons have listed I wouldn’t visit again Also only 1 towel in the room and hand towel it’s 2 person room these little things do matter when your away from home

Lo que más me gustó fue que la habitación era nueva y amplia y estaba limpia y la facilidad para hacer el check in. También que apenas había ruido y los huéspedes fueron respetuosos. El dueño vive en la casa y un día estaban sus amigos haciendo cena y utilizando la sala de estar y no hicieron ruido ni molestaron , eso se agradece ya que mi habitación era la planta baja, aun así era incomodo verles andar por la casa.

No me gustó el baño externo que se supone que era "privado" pero al final cualquiera que pasase por ahí, podía usarlo. Lo cual no era privado y además era super pequeño y yo que mido 1,59 me sentía incómoda.( Si coges la habitación con baño privado externo, no es solo para ti!!!) Por otro lado, la cocina estaba un poco desastrosa y la sala de estar también, la cocina tenia comida cocinada en una sartén , había toallas y sabanas usadas por ahí, la nevera llena de comida, sentíamos como si estuviéramos ocupando una casa de alguien que vive ahí permanentemente. No pusieron la calefacción en ningún momento, por lo menos en nuestra habitación y estamos a 15 de diciembre... La zona para andar sola de noche no la recomiendo en absoluto. Por último, me gustaría decir que si reservo para 2 personas, tendría que haber 4 toallas al menos, 2 grandes de cuerpo 2 pequeñas para pelo, cara, manos típicas...nos dio 2 toallas ( esos pequeños detalles marcan la diferencia) .
