Globe Apartments M16

The studio was very cosy and clean. There are all basics and even more as it had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner (even if I didn't use it I think it was nice). I loved that there were extra towels, pillows and sheets. the kitchen has all the basics needed. The bed was actually very comfy. There is a TV that you can watch from the comfort of the bed and a table to eat and work. The bathroom is lovely, the mirror has a led light which is very cool and the shower was amazing. There is a washing machine in the corridor. There are also a few restaurants nearby and a Morrisons only 15 minutes walk. Even if it's a very busy road during the day it was quiet once during the night so I could sleep soundly.

Clean warm spacious

Very spacious apartment. All amenties working. Got email and passcode for netflix which was great for myself and daughter to watch a film. Clean and a good standard.

A few things, firstly the wrong number of the building on the booking site. Should be 256a this needs to be amended on site as no number 262 exists! The lock box didnt have a key in initially and cleaner had to hand it to me. Correspondance was through app which is ok, but when there are problems phone is much easier, even though phone was answered on the 2nd attempt. I think a welcome pack would be a nice touch, maybe tea/coffee/milk to make a drink on arrival. Shower instructions may be a bonus. Toilet roll holder was loose on wall. Wardrobe doors didnt have handles. If 2 guests are staying then i think 2 towels would be a minimum. Thanks

Well located for attending a match at Old Trafford cricket ground

I wasn’t proactively provided with the access / lockbox details ahead of my stay, despite prepayment having successfully gone through. I had to phone to receive the access details. The window covering was a vertical blind, the cords on the blind were broken so it didn’t open properly. When I did open part of the blind in the morning to let the daylight in, the window looked out over a rooftop that was like a dumping ground - an old bathtub with plants growing in it, ladders, building materials, old plant pots. Shower had toiletry containers for body wash, shampoo and conditioner - only the conditioner had any product in. There was hand soap on the basin but that seemed watered down. Towels - only one set of bath & hand towel and no floor mat so not adequate for more than a single person occupancy. I didn’t use the kitchen, it looked well equipped but if you were planning to use it there is no where to eat - there is one small tub chair, no table
