Chic Luxury Apartment near Old Trafford Stadiums Manchester

Very clean and tidy High standards of fittings and fixtures, everything working Good supply of cutlery and utensils, condiments Excellent communication by hosts with clear instructions for arrival and using equipment Handy location, close to cricket and football stadium. Location is neither buzzing and lively nor dull and remote, it is quiet and safe with light traffic. Can imagine it is a bit noisier on match days.

Bear with me on this. Just one problem. As Manchester isn't known for its sunny climate then it's probably unfair to expect aircon in the apartment. However we arrived on probably the hottest day on record and the temperature was unbearable. There are fans supplied and the bedroom could be cooled, but I would recommend the blinds are closed prior to guests arriving on a sunny day. They would reduce the heat a little. But everything else about this place was top notch.

The beds were not made up upon (a late)arrival and no towels. The sofa bed (requested by myself several times) was not made up at all during our stay and no bedding provided. One of the large windows in the lounge was broken so there was a continual draught and the flat was cold. Only 1 thin duvet supplied. We booked for 2 nights but couldn't bring ourselves to 'sleep' another so went home at 3pm! The door locking mechanism didn't work the second day so had to ask for a lockbox key (would've been easier to do this from the start). Mostly 'automated' replies from host.
