Great location, very good communication. There was a mix up with someone else having the same room as me, but it was sorted out swiftly.
The facilities were all good, and it looked like they were being taken care of. One complaint would be the slightly sickly smell of air freshener in my room. It might have been to cover up another smell, which I can understand, but maybe get a more neutral smelling freshener? I guess it could also have been a previous person's deodorant..
Also, would recommend the staff to have a look at the shower rail on the top floor in the bathroom, it comes off the wall very easily. I caught it, but it could quite easily hit some one as it's coming down, or take the shower unit off the wall. Last point, again on the top floor, 5th stair down from the top is loose. Could be a pretty nasty trip hazard.

Decent value for a short night's stay.
Host was friendly as well.
Soundproofing is not ideal. Cleanliness could definitely be better as well though it is workable.
Would be nice to have clothes hangers in the wardrobe.

Manager was polite, room was comfortable and warm. Bathroom and kitchen were spotless. Manager gave good advice about walking into city alone,
I had to ask manager to ask guest to turn down very loud music after midnight, he did immediately
