Enjoyed my stay. Great aircon. Wi-fi is spotty.

Great location just off the main road to the beach. Restaurants, bars, and stores close. Beach down the street. Big room with aircon and mini fridge. Would definitely stay again. Recommended.

It has AC - very appreciated and not common! The bed was huge and comfortable. The host was very fast to respond and very welcoming

Just for info, it says it is a suit but there is no cattle or cups or cutlery or anything at all if you want to eat in. They have a fridge though. Also the bathroom has a big gap between the ceiling and the wall, which means if you are in the bathroom, all the noise, smell and steam is felt by everyone else in the room, so if you are shy be mindful :)

Location close to restaurants and the beach. The rooms are spacious for two people.

The mattress was too hard, the rest is fair for what you pay. There wasn't a table or desk in case you need to work.

Great stay - highly recommend

Great location, very clean, big comfortable bed, and friendly staff! The balcony was a nice addition and we enjoyed our time with the cat that visited us every morning.

Could do with some outdoor lights for the evening as it’s hard to see where you are going.

It's affordable, but I wouldn't stay again.

The location is incredible, in the center of town. The rooms are very spacious with a couch and full closet. I asked for a kettle to make myself tea (although no cups provided) and the manager kindly obliged.

The walls are paper thin; I could hear everything my neighbors said. The bathroom had no ventilation and smelled like mold. The room wasn't cleaned during my entire stay. No water provided. Weak/nonexistent wifi.

Cockroaches and dysfunctional staff communication

The room looked good and spacious.

We had many cockroaches at night 4 out of the 6 nights we stayed there and even when telling the staff, they were not taking it seriously and we ended up leaving before the end of our stay. Horrible experience with the communication of the staff, needed to ask for the room to be cleaned.

No hot water, bad WIFI. Not worth the price

The room itself was clean and air-conditioned, which was appreciated, but that’s about where the positives end.

Our stay at Luna De Miel in Mazunte was disappointing. While the hotel is located on a hill with nice views, getting up there with luggage is a challenge. If you’re carrying anything heavy, be prepared for a bit of a workout. There was no hot water, and when we asked the host about it, she blamed the booking site for not disclosing this information rather than offering a solution. The WiFi also doesn’t reach the room, which made it difficult to plan activities or stay connected. The worst part, however, was the attitude of the staff. From the moment we arrived, the French woman at reception was cold and unwelcoming. When we brought up our concerns about the missing amenities, instead of addressing them, they offered to cancel our stay and charge us a cleaning fee—which felt like a complete lack of customer service. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. While having A/C is nice, the lack of WiFi and hot water, combined with rude staff, make this place not worth the price. There are plenty of other options in Mazunte with better hospitality and transparency.

Great, spacious bedroom with air con but the bathroom has a lot of mould

The property is in a great location, walkable to everywhere. The room was large and spacious, I liked having a sofa and mini fridge as well. Air con work very well.

There is a serious black mould issue in the bathroom. It is a wet room but after a shower not all the water drains away due to the uneven floor and there isn't anything to mop or sweep the water towards the drain

Lovely accomodation for a stay in Mazunte!

Location is great, close to the shops/cafes and the beach but not too noisy. The bed is comfortable, the room was pretty spacious for our stay and it was handy having a fridge. We had some amazing sunrise views from our balcony each morning!

A refillable water station would’ve been great! You can refill in the shop downstairs for $5 pesos but this was closed one day.

The location is good and the bed is comfortable.

The airconditioning is right above your head which made me feel sick at some point. The curtains are too small to cover the window. You have to check in at some sigaretteshop, there are no common area's and its sti under construction

Comfortable stay in the heart of Mazunte

We stayed here for four nights and overall our stay was pleasant. The accommodation is right in the centre of town, minutes walk from the beach and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. The room itself is massive, it has a separate area for the couch and fridge, another separate area for the bed as well as a closet and bathroom. It's important to note there is no hot water (not told in listing!) but we did not find that a big deal at all. The water was not freezing, it was actually a really nice way to cool down as Mazunte is extremely hot. The air conditioning is excellent and the bed was massive. Overall, we had a really lovely stay and even extended our stay. Would be back for sure.

The wifi was not great at all. Sometimes it was ok but slow and other times it didn't work at all. There are roosters next door, so I suggest ear plugs when falling asleep as they crow all night long. Although it wasn't a big deal because the weather is so hot, they should be advising of the no hot water situation in the listing.

Well located, large and clean room but not enough safe.

Clean and very spacious room. It’s possible to be like 4 people in the room. Very very good price. CloOn the mainstreet of Mazunte, so all the restaurants are close.

The hotel is under construction. No very noisy, it’s not hard construction. A thing happen and this is why I gave a 5 instead of 8 because I think it’s major. I’ve arrived from the beach during the afternoon and the door of my room was wide open. All my stuff was in plain sight of the other guest. All the guest have to pass in front of my door. Nobody was there to watch my stuff. There was two men in the bathroom. The host told me they are fixing the bathroom lights. Effectively, there was a problem with one light, but It was not important to fix it right now because there was another light in the bathroom. I didn’t ask to fix it and I didn’t complain about it. The two men told me that will be finish in 15 minutes. So I took a walk and I came back 15 minutes later. My room door was still wide open. It was very easy to stole all my stuff because there absolutely no security in that hotel. Another problem is there no reception. Sometimes, the host is there, sometimes not. I came 2 times in the morning to ask question about parking (the hotel don’t have parking) and there was nobody.

Perfect stay!

Amazing location, on the main road but still super quiet, air con was a LIFESAVER. Bed is huge and SO soft, room was spotless and the balcony is gorgeous. Lots of building work being done around the property, but that's Mexico for you and it didn't disturb me at all. Staff were super friendly, felt very safe here!

Wifi was pretty awful, they could do with an extender and I would have liked hot water in the shower, but for the price you can't complain too much!

Angenehme Unterkunft für ein paar Tage im schönen Mazunte

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer ist fantastisch und er hat uns geholfen wann immer wir es gebraucht hatten. Vielen Dank dafür.

Da es in Mazunte sehr feucht ist und die Möbel (zBsp. im Bad) aus Holz sind, ist einiges verschimmelt. Dies ist nur bedingt dem Host vorzuwerfen und wir konnten uns damit abfinden. Die Dusche läuft nicht sehr gut ab und überschwemmt deshalb das ganze Bad aber auch das ist aushaltbar.
