Adequate for a short stay, overall. The owner/hostess was very kind and even gave us 100 pesos for the colectivo to San Antonio as we were out of cash
There was no small bedside light in the room, so we had to use the main lights. There was no warm water for the shower

Room was spacious.
Some rooms don't have AC. But there are 2 fans, which do the job.

- The accomodation offers a good price-quality ratio.
- The room is clean.
- The bed is big and comfortable.
- The accommodation was good enough at first, so we even stayed longer (at a discounted rate, which is sweet and definitely appreciated, but a lot of places were offering discounts, as there was a lot of vacancy).
- We did not like the way we were received. It felt quite transactional, desinterested and not welcoming.
- At some point there was a power cut for 12 hours, starting at 4 AM. This meant no fans, no electricity to charge phones, no wifi for most of it and a really, really hot room (our main issue), making it impossible to sleep. The way this was handled was disappointing. No compensation was offered, even though we asked for it (just 100-200 pesos, about 5-9 euros) — just as a form of recognizing the discomfort. (We would have given the money to the cleaner, which we still did, but from our own pockets.) The owner told us to seek compensation from the electricity company, but legally speaking, the hotel is responsible for providing the promised service. Anyway, we had already paid upfront, so there wasn’t much we could do about it.
- Also, the Wi-Fi is really slow—so slow that at times, it didn’t work at all.
- Other things to take into account: the rooms are really noisy. You can hear almost everything because the windows are the wooden slits type, so a lot of light and sound can enter.
- Also, there is no hot water in the room (we didn’t mind though because it was so warm outside).
- When we texted our feedback, we never received a response, which is very telling for that feeling of 'not feeling at home'.
I would not come here again or recommend it to anyone else, which is why I’ve given it a 4/10. In comparison, Una Posada Más actually seemed like a much nicer place to stay (we kept walking past it; it had a lot of green shared spaces with hammocks, and a service desk with some very friendly people, and a couple minutes away from the nice beach).

Room was spacious and clean. Large bed had good mattress. Easy to walk to the beach and restauants from the room.
Proximity to the street- the room faced a large speedbump just outside which every vehicle was forced to stop for, gear down, and then proceed, often making a lot of noise. The room was very hot, requiring two powerful fans which stirred the air but didn't cool. Due to the heat, the two doors and two windows had to be left open all night. Only one of these had a screen , so insects bit me all night long in the bed. On top of the heat and the mosquitos, there were dogs barking on or near the property through the day and all night long. After the first of two nights here, I asked the manager, courteously, to reduce my stay to the night already served. She would not even discuss it.
I think that, during winter high season, these problems, other than the dogs, may not exist. But, I would not return to this property unless some substancial upgrades were made to the room.

the location is great
it could have done with some clothes hooks and maybe some chairs in the room

Beautiful and clean room. Great location for walking anywhere in Mazunte and catching transportation.
My room was very hot all day and all night. The building seems to retain heat. My 5-day stay would have been greatly improved if there had been a communal refrigerator to store breakfast basics or leftovers.

It was very clean with room cleaned and towels changed daily.
Big bed with good pillows.
Next to a building site that starts work before 8am! It doesn't help having a cockrel sounding off from 2am.
It needs mosquito nets on the windows as they were a real problem.
it all means it's a nightmare to sleep here, which is a shame because it's a nice place.

Bed was comfortable, two fans were offered, one of the woman was nice (the other one was quite rude).
There was a terrible ant infestation in the room. Any food or drink became swarmed within 15 mins. Addditionally, check in was quite difficult as there weren’t any directions and then there is no phone service once you’re there to communicate. Finally, it was just further from the best beaches / spots you want to see like Punto Cometa. Everything was around a 25 min walk.

the position and the little outside patio
there was a hole in the wall, like a window, without coverage and animals could enter easily

The street is a tiny bit noisy

The staff was kind and place was clean
Room. Temperature, took a bit to figure out I had to sleep with window open and how to position second fan. I asked if rooms with AC and the manager let me there was not. Also windows with only slats, no screen, unsure how many bugs flew in, but sprayed myself with mosquito spray to prevent any bites with their easy entry. Wifi did not work.

nice, comfortable bed and friendly staff.
close to the beach.
2 out of 3 nights I couldn’t sleep at all because of all the noice. Loud music from everywhere(super loud live music from next door, both night time and 5 in the morning), roosters all night and two frequently barking dogs.
no windows, only open wooden ”frames”.

The room I had was spacious, clean, nice linens and towels and had a refrigerator. It was right on the main road, so there were times of trucks going by, and dogs barking, etc. But the fans blocked out most of the outer sounds. I was very happy with this room. Great value for the money. Bed was great! And this room had a sitting area with a couch and wonderful upholstered chair perfect for my meditations. It also had a table for eating.
The internet isn't that good at the. property and quite often the internet shuts down in all of Manzunte for hours. I didn't like the artificial fragrance of the cleaning soap they used in the bathroom. The balcony is very narrow and right on the road, so to me--it wasn't really an asset.

The room is really big, tasteful and new and the bed is huge. There is a fridge to keep things cool. The cleaning service is amazing. I had to ask for less soap! there are fans to try to combat the heat and we had no problems with mosquitos whatsoever. It is a new posada so rooms are still being finished. Having the fans on blocked out road noises and occasional dog barks, and in Mazunte you will always need the fans on so that wasn't a problem.
Maybe a clothes rail would be great. A central drinking water point would also have stopped us having to buy lots of plastic water bottles but I could say the same about lots of Posadas. Overall a great place. Thank-you! still in the early stages of development.
